I was just at Target Blaine north 109th and they had MPM Starscream at 50% off! I know he has been kinda shelf-warming for a couple weeks, but was surprised to see that big of a discount already! (Didn't he just come out a few weeks ago?) I didn't really feel he was worth it at MSRP of $150, but for $75 I'll pick him up! Plus RedCard 5% off and there was also an additional 5% store-wide purchase coupon in the Target app randomly when I went to checkout.

There were two there. I grabbed one and stashed the other one behind the Cyberverse Bumblebees on the bottom shelf, if anyone else is looking.

Edit: Oh also stopped at Walmart Blaine north Ulysses and they have the War for Cybertron spoiler figure on clearance for $35.

Does Walmart Andover still have G1 Blasters? Haven't seen him at the Blaine one yet and would like to pick one up where I can look them over and not get a crushed or bad stickered one. I have him preordered I think but always nice to have the option to choose the best one if there are multiple.

 

Are you keeping her MISB, or did you get an extra so you could open one?

Well if you find one at the clearance price, pick it up so you have a new sealed copy and return on your old receipt? Kind of grey area, but if you are still in the return period of your original purchase it seems ok to me. You'd still basically be returning the same NISB product.

To add to this, if you have the Target app and synced up your account with your RED Card it should track all your purchases.

I've done returns off of that even for in-store stuff. Really handy if you can't find the receipt.

Eh, their site says 14 days after purchase, so I guess I'll chalk it up to caveat emptor this time. SEPTEMBER FIRST I GOT HIM. >< ><

If you find one on clearance you could still buy it and return it with your full price receipt, but yes, they won't otherwise price match it. Whatever it's worth, the more they sell at clearance prices, the less likely they opt to carry similar future releases. Whatever it's worth, if it were me...I'd buy a clearance figure if it was right in front of me and return it with my full price receipt in this case. It's been 3 weeks! If it were like 3 months...fine, thems the breaks...but 3 weeks? If they're clearancing them that quick, my return isn't going to make or break future plans...

 

If you used the RED Card it should be at least 30 days, if not 90.

Like, that one week they had a BOGO plus 30% off on Cartwheel I stocked up on a few and then exchanged them when what I wanted came out. And I'm pretty sure I sat on that Siege Shockwave for like 2 months at LEAST before swapping him for GUOP.

I think they're clearancing out Starscream so that ratchet can take his place at the beginning of October? At least that's when my pre-order on target.com is supposed to come in.

 

Oh to get around the 14 day price match... The store returned my item..and resold it to me at the clearance cost......

As for sightings, unless you want leadfoot or w2 micromasters, Richfield and Bloomington targets are a bust. Richfield did have a bunch of s5 botbot 8 packs if people want 'em.

Looks like 90 days, and RedCard purchases look like an additional 30 days...?

 

My jaw dropped at the fact that Starscream is already clearanced. I almost wanted to ask someone to pick him up for me since I am a sucker for a sale. However, I have seen some very polarizing opinions about him (primarily about the coloration, alt-mode kibble, and fiddliness of getting everything to fit in the alt mode). Anyone have him? How is he in-hand?
