G I Joe Destro has a 9/1/2020 street date too at Target. It's like they stopped trying to sell us things altogether.
I bought an Astrotrain for my son today at Target, and of course it was street dated. Luckily for me, the cashier knew what he was doing, and recognized that the figure has been available to sell for a while. He couldn't find another leader to ring up since they're all blocked, so he charged me for a SS Voyager instead. Pretty nice of him to do that.
So, question for everyone, I got MP-29+ Shockwave today, and I'm curious as to what you all think, is the normal or the + version more cartoon accurate, because to me, neither one is a 1-to-1 color match
Due to the animation variation in color I am fine with my original one... I just prefer that shade of purple more.
It seems like an overcorrection from last time this happened. GUOP was dated but Shockwave wasn't so when they stocked shelves both got put out. Now it seems like they just dated the whole price point to account for Dealer.
I'm honestly not too picky about cartoon accuracy given how the animation couldn't even keep the characters' heights consistent. LOL Long as Shockwave is purple, I'm good. I have the first release MP Shockwave.
Did that one remaining drive in in Minnesota shut down last year because I feel like those should be thriving if there's any left.
I know Elko speedway opened a drive in theater, some Marcus theaters (outside of Minnesota unfortunately) have also turned their parking lots into a drive in and there’s some others around the cities but not sure where.
Does anybody need Rung but not want Slitherfang? Been thinking about PO-ing the wave on BBTS if there's s taker.
Eagan Target has Battlemasters on Clearance, which is odd. $4.18. They've got Smashdown, Soundbarrier, and a few Siege gun dudes. Also the Cyberverse Battle Armor guys are $10 in clearance, but they've only got Shockwave.
Question for people who have been toy hunting longer than I have. I'm in Duluth for the weekend, are there any shops around the area that are good places to find action figures and collectibles?
