My wife just spotted the Netflix TFs at the Shakopee WalMart. Looks like Hound, Sideswipe, and Chromia.

Someone else must have grabbed the other Magnus then. I gotta say, I overall like his deco more than the original, but the core robot looks WAY better. And you get a translucent pink rung. What's not to love?

Found a bunch of these blind bagged transforming alphabet robots at Target while looking for some goodies to keep the kiddos sane. I’ve seen them online in the past but I had no idea they combined into a fully articulated bot with a blaster. Pretty cool!

Could be some older stuff my Target (Knollwood) found and put out. Package is dated 2018. But yeah, I first saw the transforming letters and numbers around the time my 8 year old was a baby. I think they were called Alphabots back then. These say Letrabots on the package and appear to be released by an Italian company called Cicaboom.

Yep, same ones only these have some added pegs and holes for the combining feature. I had no idea they went back as far as the 80’s! Pretty cool to see such old stuff repurposed and on a Target shelf.

I've been seeing those at targets (Bville and Edina) for a few months, and yeah, they look like updated versions of the old toys from the 80's. Seeing them in that pic.... kinda makes me want some. XD

    :EDIT:
Side question - has anyone tried to return stuff to amazon lately? I want to pick up some S5 botbots, but I don't wanna get stuck with duplicates.

Were these in the dollar spot at the front or somewhere in the toy section?

They’re by the baseball cards and blind bag toys by the check outs. If you’re feeling the bags for specific letters, the I and the ! are packed in the same bag.

Newage Lucifer is back in stock (finally) at BBTS, so I gave him a whirl. I assume it will be at least a week before I get him.

Oooh I need to find some of those. My son saw some at his daycare before we had to pull him because of everything...but he'd love them. Especially now he's in to combining.

Looks like my Scrapper is shipping out from Target soon and will be here next monday-wed!

Also: On the recommendation of this thread, I gave NewAge a shot and got their G2 Jazz. I wish it fit in a little better with my IF stuff, but other than that, it's a cool transformation and definitely more in-line with the G1 look most people want. Don't mind the price as much, either! I'll prolly get a few more of theirs in the future.

Good to see I'm not the only one that has gotten into the Legends class stuff.

Newage Jazz and Megatron are what sold me on their line.

Now I have Newage versions of:

    Bumblebee
    Cosmos
    Ironhide
    Ratchet
    Bluestreak
    Prowl

    Megatron
    Starscream
    Thundercracker
    Skywarp

A Magic Square Optimus Prime and Toyworld Wheeljack standing it for their characters and have a Newage Brawn and Outback, Smokescreen and the DX9 Dinobots all coming from Chosen Prime here.

Just need the Coneheads and Insecticons from Newage and I'm caught up fully.

I've been doing legends since IF made their Blaster and Sixgun. Always been a big fan. They're GREAT work desk toys, and their DJD combiner is insanely fun to mess with.
I still need to try Magic Square. I have Hot Soldiers Soundwave, but I'm hoping the IF one is better. Honestly, my next NewAge might be their TMNT-Brawns because they're so goofy. I've got Heat Death in my stack at Chosen Prime, so it'd be worth it to get the free shipping.

    Also, for actual sightings:
Hidden Walmart had a weird mash up of various waves of Siege, a bunch of 25th anniversary megatrons, 1 Netflix Hound and Sideswipe, and just random other assorted guys from over the last year.

Bville Target had Ironworks, Hoist, smashdowns, and ER micromasters.

:EDIT: Now Target is saying my Scrapper is backordered and extended the arrival to May 4 - 15. Suddenly, I remember why I don't preorder through target.

Hey Boys, hope everyone is surviving the quarantine. Did anyone happen to snag vintage Soundwave or Cassettes on clearance at Walmart? Sounds like BP Walmart had quite a few yesterday, but they transformed and rolled out will before I could get there. I'd love to get a G1 Soundwave, but never saw them in the wild. #SouthMetroSucks

According to brickseek.com, Fridley Walmart has at least 6 in stock for $30. Not as good as $13, but better than the original $50 if you need him.

I haven't seen any lately. Did see 3 G1 astrotrains at Shakopee Walmart and totally forgot about them. >< One of them had a pretty smashed box.
