Love that Ironworks’s third mode is a Soloflex.

1x Rung sitting at Lake St Target. I put him at the back of the peg. Nothing else of interest.

Found all the earthrise deluxes at bville target. There’s one more hoist on the pegs, and the employee I talked to said they had at least one other deluxe in the back but couldn’t remember which one.

didn’t ask if they had other size classes

Watch out for the panel that flips Wheeljacks head into his body. On mine the tab is extremely tight and probably needs to be filed down. When you try to flip his head into his chest, it feels like his head is going to snap off the peg.

    Yeah
yeah, I totally ran into that, too. The way it looks, I thought it was supposed to slide or something, but I think it's just built like that to let the plastic flex a little.

So, impressions... if the deluxes are an indicator, I'll probably like this more than Siege, and I really like Siege. I'm very impressed by how they did characters that have been done to death but managed to add at least one surprising aspect to each transformaton. Every one of them is a blast, more complex than I expected (without RotF levels of frustration), and looks great. Even Cliffjumper's size doesn't bother me, and once I was transforming him, I really felt like I had gotten my money's worth.

The set overall feels like a passion project. It feels like it was really made by people who want to have FUN transformers, not just ACCURATE ones.

One thing that was odd - the plastic feels different? I can't quite explain how. Sorta matte, but not really mat, sorta soft but not soft? Not brittle, not bad, just different. If I had any complaints, it would be Hoist's arm-wings (I know it's an accuracy thing, I think they coulda just made them a LITTLE less obtrusive) and visible hands in vehicle mode, but the way he crunches into a (frankly adorable) little truck is just a ton of fun.

Also, I love that Wheeljack is a much more creamy white than just WHITE white. I think it gives him a lot of character. I REALLY hope we get a Marlboor/Exhaust out of him (or was that already confirmed?)

I think there was a typically reliable source who said Exhaust is coming. Can't remember if it was Selects or Mainline.

I'd guess with the potential risk factor of the deco it'd be Selects.

Also, the keywords I found on my boxes were Velocitron, Antilla, Junkion, and Dead Universe. I'm sure someone's posted that somewhere.

I’m just giddy that we have red decoders again. Did they come with Siege and I just missed them?

No, the hidden stuff on the Siege boxes was all blacklight stuff. This is way better. I almost missed that the decoders were tucked in the bottom corner!

North St. Paul Target only had a single Ironworks. Now they have zero Ironworks. I didn't see any other new figures.

SS Arcee wave at AV Target off Pilot. Also the Cyberverse Repugnus One-Step wave. Only the one Siege Shockwave so they could be close to putting ER Prime and Astro out.
