Newage is the shiz. Gradually getting everything as I have money. Those new seekers look superb.

Do people like Newage mostly because they're basically mini G1 MP's, or is their engineering super good, or like what?

Engineering is excellent. They are complex yet intuitive, and sturdy. Sculpting is the best I’ve seen at that scale, and is increasingly cartoon accurate. Also, they produce a ton of stuff ON TIME so it’s easy to stay engaged.

Pretty much what Rodimus already said.

I wasn't going to get into another scale of Transformers, but Newage just somehow made Legends scale Masterpieces that look amazing. Especially once you place them near your Generations city bots (Metroplex, Trypticon, Fortress Maximus).
Imagine then with that big Unicron that is coming in another year if you ordered one of them.

I do wish Newage had an Optimus Prime out, but Magic Square's offering seems to look good next to the Newage Megatron from what I see in photos.

Has anyone seen Rung around recently? I'm getting a "lost wave" vibe from him

Pretty sure I saw Rung at a few of the North Metro stores.

I've never once seen Apeface up here while it seemed he was abundant in the South Metro for a time.

Nu Rungs, but there were a couple Singes at EP target tonight. Also a handful of laserbeak/ravage sets, but for the most part, the pegs are SUPER bare. If anywhere gets an Earthrise reset soon, it'll prolly be there.

Nothing interesting at Richfield Target and Bloomington Walmart.

If someone is still looking for Apeface, they had one at Bloomington Walmart, but they put the aisle price sticker on the top of the box.

Has anyone seen any Earthrise or Astrotrain in the Twin Cities Metro or within 50 miles radius?

Never seen him at retail, but they should become more plentiful since he’s being repacked for Earthrise.

He’s available on Pulse right now, if you don’t mind doing the online thing.

S4 botobots claw and gumball sets (both of each version) at EP target. Lots of Cyberverse quintessons and sharkticons, but not much else.

Man seeing that makes me want to haul out my Armada collection. It'll always have a special place in my heart... first set I truly COLLECTED, an I think I have every mold from it except Lazerbeak and Skywarp's minicon. I wish the modern micromasters had weapon modes as creative as those guys! Sadly, no extras. Sorry man. Good luck though, that was one of my favorite minicon sets!

EDIT: There are a ton on ebay. Mostly running about $30 for an unopened set (one unopened for $20), but this guy has them for $8.25 (more like $17 with shipping) opened. Seems a LITTLE risky, but overall I'd say it's legit.

Gonna try to avoid eBay on this one, since I only need the one bot, plus I just got taken for $20 by a different dude who said his Terradive wasn’t broken (I asked him prior) and it shows up broken worse than the one I already had. It was well-packed, so I know it wasn’t a shipping problem.
