Eagan Target looks to be mid-reset. The TFs are in the usual spot, but they've also started an endcap (not facing the main drag) that includes a bunch of stuff (looks like co-located). Only new thing out of this so far is the "Villains" Rodimus/Sharkticons set from Cyberverse. (Couple of random boxes labeled "Transition 1/12/20" also hanging out on the pallet...so that may be the magic date for some of the new stuff to be more consistently out. Especially with SS Scavenger and Shockwave having been pushed back to the 13th on Pulse)
Anybody have MP Hound yet? Any breakage issues? I can’t believe the poor quality of these recent releases.
The overall quality of MP Hound is not too bad compared to MP 44 & 45 although the price is definitely not reasonable. Probably $80 would be the maximum.
It ALSO makes me nervous about having backed Unicron. Does Hasbro have a plan to deal with defects and replacement parts, if they’re only making enough to fill orders? I haven’t heard if there were issues with the sail barge, but there’s a lot more that can go wrong on a Transformer.
Yup, mine looked good until mid transformation from alt to bot, when one of the rear Jeep panels that goes into the foot fell off because the tiny hinge broke. Not a huge deal, I'll just glue it back on, but yes it's a disappointment for the price paid.
Oof. I refuse to buy the new MP Prime until they rerelease with better knees. In sightings news... Uptown Minneapolis mini Target on Lake and Hennepin is clearing out Siege Shockwave for $25, and St Louis Park Target off Hwy 100 has Siege Voyagers for $20. Thundercracker, Starscream and Megatron.
Got Bike Girls and SS Soundwave from Amazon today: Bike girls are... fiiiine? I dunno. I need to do them a few more times. They definitely got that ROTF "This transformation is kinda cool but really annoying" accurately... Also, there's not a doubt in my mind they planned for these guys to combine at some point and I'm sad they don't and hope 3p company makes it happen. Soundwave is super cool... except one of his shoulder panels is on upside-down so I can't transform him until I take him home and take his arm apart. I THINK I can fix it, but just a QC thing to watch out for. I wish his transformation was a little more complex, but it gets the job done. Still glad I have a KO of the HA version.
They're making it hard for me to not grab one just for the inner bot. Was it just the guys listed on Clearance or were those just the ones they had on hand? Target also has the Spark Armor Elite on Clearance but none of them are marked.
Uptown target only had Shockwaves. St. Louis park had a galaxy prime but it scanned regular price. Did not scan a Shockwave there. For voyagers SLP just had those three. I believe Studio voyagers and Ultras were also a similar clearance. Don’t recall who they had. All deluxe and below were regular price.
Pretty much the same today. Saw the Sharkticons. Also LOTS of Battlemasters. Shockwave is wonderful and well worth $25.
Oh hey, does anybody have a line on getting the Seacon bundle from TT Mall? I missed the preorder on a couple.
I was just saying in general if those Clearance prices go wide there are a few I'd grab. Haven't heard anything at this time.
If stores are clearancing the Siege stuff now, can I assume I won't see Astrotrain in the wild? Still never seen Apeface up here in the North Metro either.
It’s possible that with their funky new inventory system, that Target is only clearing out specific figures. Still, it would probably be wise to grab him online.
Someone was looking for aimless, right? They had 5 at bville target. I tucked one behind the shockwaves in case there was a sudden run on them. Buncha Pteraxadons too
