Got my Hightower from Pulse this afternoon. He's a fun little dinosaur. So far the Deluxe Constructicons are a slight bit more entertaining than their Voyager counterparts.

Which is no knock on the rest of the team.

Got my pulse shipment today as well. Honestly, Hightower, Drift, and Dropkick are all great molds. Dropkick's panels are a little fidgety getting him into car mode, but he's got a unique transformation, and I'm impressed that Drift works as well as he does overall (especially since a lot of his engineering borrows from helicopter Dropkick, who was... okay). Hightower is cool, but I'm mostly in it for the hand.

On a downnote, my wife offered to help me get Unicron... and then early in the week she ended up with a $1400 car repair sooo... no Unicron for me. Ah well. I was having a really hard time justifying $600 on a single figure anyhow. XD

Yeah I spent that on TFC Poseidon, but that's 6 high quality 3P figures. As awesome as Unicron is, that's a hefty ask.

Spotted the *original* Powertrain and Highjump at a garage sale this morning. Passed on them, but thought it was funny given we're only now seeing them in stores.

    Rochester

    Walmart South 63
TONS of cassettes, two full pegs. I grabbed two perfect cards, but there are many left over (looked like 2 cases of 12 were put out) There are still good looking cards in the lots.

    Super Target (north)
I just returned the Rainmakers because the box was smashed in the mail (I purchased a perfect boxed version at a Target in Wisconsin before the one came in the mail). They may put it out on the floor. They also had two refractors, brunt, the 10 pack on micros and some others.

Anytime find a cache of the new G1 stuff (or OP) on the north side? Been a wasteland for the most part.

Keep seeing reports of him on the Walmart thread for even cheaper than before ($13 I think). And Brickseek still shows him all over too, which is sad because he does seem to be out of stock everywhere I've gone physically.

Edit: Transformers: Vintage G1 Optimus Prime Collectible Figure - BrickSeek Search there and you'll see it shows him all over the cities for $13. Inventory must be all messed up.

Same with SS Voyagers. Wonder if in the middle of resetting they've pulled some stuff and not updates inventory to reflect they're gone?

Maybe they're sitting on a pallet somewhere to go to whatever TJMaxx/Goodwill location Walmart uses to offload stuff like this.

Saw a single Studio Series car mode Dropkick at Coon Rapids Target today. I'm just looking for Hightower from that wave though.

The slow crawl to completing Studio Series Devastator.

It's like waiting for a 3p combiner but half the price!

Also, that Dropkick is really good. Panels are a little fiddly at the end of car mode, but overall he's fantastic.

Yeah I think I remember seeing them a while back when clearances on them first started popping up and I was popping around to most of the Walmarts on the north side trying to find another OP. There was like ten or more of them but every one was beat up pretty badly and of course they were still at full price. Sad to see nothing has changed. That place was sketchy and they were all so beat up, I didn't really have any plans to return there...

Saw G1 Soundwave at Andover Walmart and the cassettes at Northtown Walmart.

I'm happy that the Marvel Legends onslaught is done for what I assume is the rest of the year...so much stuff that was hitting all at once. Just on the lookout for Studio Series Hightower, any new Siege figures, and wave 2 of the Lighting Collection Power Rangers figures, but not in as big of a hurry to search for them.
