This is me with the new Seacons and SS Hightower. Hell, even the Long Haul that's already shipped from Amazon.
No mini-bot 10 pack and No Rain Makers set on the shelf tonight at Target.. cyberverse slipstream and acid storm showed up.. no new SS figures. 1 Refractor, Six gun, some Prowel's for Siege deluxe class. Some Voagers and leaders.. as well. No Soundwave at Wal-Mart yet.. maybe on a couple weeks?
According to Target's site, these are the only places with the micromaster sets in the cities. Got some in Brainerd if you want 'em too! XD
Eagan Target with all the new Spark Armor stuff. Also the blue, yellow, and silver Beast Morphers zords for anyone collecting those.
Bloomington Target looks like it's going through a BIIIIIIIIG reset. Ended up running there and Edina looking for Beast Morpher zords (nada). Ended up walking away from the trip with a new Tamagotchi ON, which I'm pretty pumped about because I collect those too, and it's the first officially translated English modern-era tamagotchi. They're a little pricey, but they're cool. ....but, uh, yeah. ROBOTS. Edina and Bloomington didn't really have anything new. Edina had hobo Megatron, both had brunt. I'm guessing we'll see more out at both places relatively soon.
Well on my way to Indianapolis stopped at the Bloomington IL target and even though they have the shelf stickers they don’t have the actual product (rainmakers). So my journey for the rainmakers continues. Btw the new beast morpher zords do they combine to form a megazord? I wonder how Hasbro is gonna tackle the older zords.
DT Target is also undergoing a big reset too. I'm still debating if I want to pick up the Galaxy Armor Optimus or not.
I picked one up hoping the next chapter gives him more to combine with. If that doesn't pan out he may wind up getting sold to fund Seacons and other more pressing figures. Just something to keep in mind for people on the fence. --------- EDIT: Also worth asking, anybody still looking for Siege Ravage/Laserbeak? I like them, but they don't really fit with what I thought I was going for. I can sell them at cost for anyone interested.
Bloomington target was mid-reset this morning. Most action figures still aren't out, but I did pick up some of the Elite spark armor guys. Bumblebee/battleship is cool, and it's neat that they can used the pieces from the smaller armor. Optimus is... rough. Megatron is... uh well... I guess the best way to describe it would be 'abomination'. The armors having spring-loaded gimmicks is cool too, but they don't work super well half the time. Overall, I'd say pass. They're neat, and they have better articulation that the normal Cyberverse figures, but unless you're super into the concept, they're not worth the price. I dunno. This whole thing just screams 'great idea executed on as little money as possible'
The reset looks done at Downtown Target as of noon today. There are new slots for the exclusive Seekers (Rainmakers) and Micromasters packs, but nothing on the shelves in either slot. The Target app says neither set is in stock there, but they'll obviously be there eventually.
Saw that the Brickseek inventory count for G1 Soundwave dropped from 6, like everywhere else, to 5 at Andover Walmart, so thought they might have been put out there. No luck.
It's similar to how RiD had Crash Combiners and Minicons. They're basically trying to recreate the Generations gimmick on a tighter budget/lower price for the media line. This time, it's Weaponizers. Those Elite figures may not be the best, but it seems like a proving ground for what we're hoping to see in WfC Pt. 2 (that is, "Weaponizers" like Victory Leo and Tidal Wave at higher price points.)
I ordered the Seeker and MM sets ship to store and they're at WSP Target now (they'd already put bar codes up for both sets). I don't know how Target moves stuff, but I'd assume they'll be on the shelves soon
