Oh hey I saw your table! Shout out to everyone at Frankiecon, and those I bumped in to at both Hot Comics. Managed to spare my wallet, even with the Beast Wars/Machines bin in that one corner. Had to leave before I bought them out! Thanks to some help and a bit of luck, I'm now 2/3 of the way to my Magnaboss goal. My overall haul was...unusual.
LOL That Cheetor. The robot mode looks at least presentable versus its beast mode. Awesome you found a Silverbolt. I couldn't even get near the front cases in Hot Comics to see if they had a CW Prowl, but if the shelves were anything like I saw last week, not likely. At least I got a almost complete G1 Ultra Magnus at FrankieCon for $20. (Just missing the white Optimus Prime fists.) I've almost got every G1 toy I ever had as a kid. Only one I don't have is a G1 Punch-Counterpunch.
Glad you found your inexpensive Silverbolt! It's sometimes so weird what you do or don't sell. Some stuff I thought would be hot didn't move, while other stuff I thought I was wasting time and space bringing did sell.
Ended up having to go to the Northwest side instead of South, so didn't go by and wasn't able to stop. Argh really want to go but always stuff to do with house, family, etc.
Bville Target has the Pteraxdon wave of Battlemasters and a Voyager Prime. Universe Cheetor in robot mode looks like someone tried to transform it and gave up half way. Like, I'm 95% certain I followed the instructions correctly and I'm even doubting myself.
Have we had any recent sightings of the Siege Soundwave Spy team? My Siege Soundwave feels empty inside.
I feel like the only place people have seen the Spy Team in the area is hot comics... It's still in stock on Pulse though.
For anyone hunting, Brickseek suggests Shakopee, St. Paul, Cottage Grove, and Woodbury Walmarts have all restocked Siege Leaders, which given recent trends has included Cybertron Prime.
Anybody interested in my extra, opened POTP Punch/Counterpunch? $30 Includes both boxes. The only reason I'm selling this one is because of a small paint blemish on Punch's face.
Tomorrow and Sunday is SpringCon down at the State Fair, anyone planning on going? I hope to, depending on the weather given the forecast keeps changing. Also, saw Pokemon Detective Pikachu today, and actually enjoyed it. Even if I only recognized a small fraction of the Pokemon in the film (the ones from the first generation games).
Stopped by Hot Comics and grabbed a Cybertron Snarl, a Mighty Max set, and a Dash Rendar figure for my wife. It'll be cool to check out their new location when it's up and running. Stopped by Edina Target on the way back. It's a real hodge-podge right now, with both waves of bot bots, a smattering of Bee Movie and Cyberverse, some studio series stuff, and one lone seige Soundwave. I'm curious about these Spark Armor Cyberverse figures, too. No sightings yet, but I'm keeping an eye out. Hopefully they're not as disappointing as the rest of Cyberverse has been.
