Saw 1 each of Voyager SS32 OP and Bonecrusher at Eden Prairie Target, bought both.
Just got Toy World Whiskey Jack. This little guy is awesome!
Does he scale well with any of these guys?
I didn't notice my Bonecrusher in vehicle mode being gappy, but I guess I wasn't looking at for very long before I transformed him back to robot mode.
I picked up SS Barricade today to complete my 2007 Decepticons (until they make Megatron anyway), and one word to describe him...'fiddly'. He doesn't like to get into vehicle mode very well as there are so many tiny tabs and you have to be so precise to get him to stay together in vehicle mode. And then turning him back into robot, the tab that connects his lower torso to his upper body took me a while to get to lock together.
I used to think SS Jazz was the most fiddly of the SS figures I own to transform, but Barricade is up there. LOL
No sign of the G1 Warpath yet?
I think it's been very limited so far, only a few Walmarts in the metro has gotten it and only one case, which include 1 Warpath. I wanna say 3 ppl has found them on the FB toy group, that was like a month ago. At this point, might be best to wait till Walmart online list it.
AV Walmart has nadda. Like, had to zero out so they'd order more.
AV Target had a pair each of Magnus and Shockwave.
Ha, funny, I have a weird gap running down the top of Bonecrusher, but my Barricade is great. XD
Also: Nothing at Hidden and Bloomington Walmarts.
I'd love to put together a collection of pics of all our dilapidated walmart toy sections, and send them off to walmart corporate, and hasbro, and just nicely ask them what the heck is going on?
Some spotters are tossing around a street date of April fools and speculating about stores stocking early idk but sounds like the same ol song and dance.
I mean, it matches with Pulse and what places like Amazon are saying for pre-orders.
Maybe broken street date is part of it, but that doesn't explain why stores don't even have refreshes of *old* stock.
No SS, but Eagan has a fresh case of W2 Siege Deluxes.
Got the alert! Fantastic!
Burnsville Target has SS Sideswipe and lots of the Prime + Bonecrusher Voyager wave.
This arrived today.
Black Mamba LS-06 oversized studio series Megatron.
It's pretty impressive.
THanks T-Hybrid! Ironhide Six Gun came home with me
2 Chromia 2 Prowl still there
First off, @ServO that Megatron is RAD. I've wondered if Black Mamba stuff is worth it, but at the same time, it's all so huge I don't think I'd have room for much.
Second, nothing much of interest at Bloomington Target and Shakopee WalMart. Bloomington Target just went through their remodel and has a bunch of tags up for the new Beast Morphers Power ranger stuff. It'll be interesting to see how those look in person.
Third, to tie together the idea of PR Beast Morphers and things I probably don't have room for, my wife got a big bonus and bought me ALL of the original Japanese Go-Buster zords!
They're effin' great:
As a transforming robot enthusiast, I definitely say they're worth it and probably the best set of zords I own. Glad I went with the actual figures instead of the minipla.
Midway Wal-Mart had wave 2 deluxes, 1 Sixgun, 2 Chromia, 1 Prowl were left. Unfortunately the Ironhides were already gone by the time I got there, thankfully I managed to get a preorder in on him today at BBTS.
Walmart finally had Siege wave two deluxe today.. Looked like it got soggy ...Chromia boxes were bad ..dented and peeling print. 2 each of the wave.. bought a Six-gun and Ironhide... Target had New SS series.. Bought a Bonecrusher... Optimus was MIA... Bought Scrapmetal as well... I guess I'm committing to Rotf Devi.... Had Cogman... Was hard not bringing that one home...
Went back to Eagan on a hunch and sure enough they had a fresh case of SS Deluxe.
Except it was Wave 5. Shout out to the employee who helped me dig out the box from the bottom of the pallet. I took a WWII Bee so he wouldn't feel like an idiot for helping after all that and then doubled back to hang it on the hook once he was gone.
