Still nothing remotely interesting at bloomington target other than a siege shockwave someone returned.

Grabbed one of the ww2 bees from av target on cedar. Nothing interesting at the target on pilot knob.
Cedar also had 1 Crankcase and 1 Clunker Bee if you like figures that are really not great.

    EDIT:
Bville and Savage target were both pretty lacking unless you're in the market for Siege voyagers. Savage also had a Magnus.

Anyway... WWII Bee. Usually I think people throw the term 'soft plastic' around too much, but this guy is more hard rubber than soft plastic. If you got Berserker or Crowbar, you'll know what I mean, where everything is just kinda squishy and bendy, This resulted in the back fender on mine being kinda warped. Still works okay, just doesn't sit quite right on his back. His transformation is fun and pretty unique despite all the kibble you end up with, and his weapons are cool. He kinda almost feels like he was made for the TLK line, but then pushed into the SS line, because most of the other SS figures are way higher quality.
Objectively though, he's probably not worth $20 unless you really like the idea of a armored truck Bee. I enjoy him because I like it when they do TF's in other timeframes (and I was a huge fan of the ideas in the Dreamwave TF/GIJoe that was all WWII-based), but I'm guessing most people will feel pretty eh.

What's funny is they were probably there yesterday but I didn't even notice because the art for both would look like something that's already been on the shelf for months.

Yeah, I just assumed that there had to be more than JUST WWII bee because those guys are gonna shelfwarm. XD That said, also means there was a Barricade and Sideswipe there at some point.

Nothing in Albert Lea Walmart. Nothing.
Owatonna had some Cog, Sideswipe, etc and 2 Megatrons though.

Man, I don't get that. Dropkick is a prett good figure. Are people just not buying him because he's not based on a classic character/not a triple changer?

I think because he's so far off-model from his screen appearance, in terms of design and scale - which I thought was the whole point of Studio Series... screen accuracy.

That said, I bought him and like him, but he does not display well with others.

I'm getting really good at it!
After today, I think there's only two more snow storms in the forecast this coming week.

Also, I've been playing the FOC/WFC games on the XBox360 with my son, and I thought it would be fun to have some of those figures in my collection...so if anyone has any of the Planet X stuff you want to part with (Megatron, Optimus, Starscream), let me know...might be able to work something out.

So you're not looking for any of the Hasbro FOC/WFC stuff? Because I have some of that stuff available.

The display aspect is a fair point, but at the same time, the greatest lie the devil ever told humanity was convincing the fandom that Studio Series would be screen accurate. XD

Honestly, despite that (and the fact that he's so dang little), I am glad they made him and are making a car mode too (I hope we get a Shatter jet, too). I think of it as like changing his 'focus' in robot mode, which... that'd honestly be kinda cool to see in the movies. Flight mode is faster and can fly, road mode is stronger and has better armor or whatever.

With people talking about buying/selling...I'm considering selling some of the older movie figures to make room for Studio Series Devastator.

If anyone is interested I can put a list together. Prices would be pretty reasonable, not looking to make a profit but don't want to get low-balled.

Found SS Wave 5 Deluxes at Bloomington Target this morning. No voyagers or leaders. There should be 2 ww2 bees, 1 barricade, and 1 sideswipe left.

Has anyone been back to Richfield to see if there were more of Prime/Jetfire SS figures out?
