I mean it's pretty obvious with the Unicron influence and how G1 the PotP line is, any Megatron would have "evolved" into a G1 accurate Galvatron with cannon mode and the smaller Megatron would have some kind of tank mode.

Given Titans Return Galvatron was a disappointment for me, I would have been okay with this.

Though it makes me wonder if they could have done a Cyclonus and Scourge that had smaller versions of whoever they turned into. I mean, there has never been 100% confirmation which character turned into Scourge and which into Cyclonus. Just lots of debate. Kinda like the classic Rumble/Frenzy thing.

Voyagers are up too. Dropkick is also in stock. Man, I'm really happy I glanced at HTS during lunch to check for BotBots. XD

That's tempting! Gotta remind myself I'm not buying Generations figures anymore! Just more to unload later...

Siege figures were on HTS? Typical. When I'm not online is when things appear.

Ah, well. Just would have bought Optimus and Megatron since I have everyone else already.
I initially wasn't going to get Cog, but after buying him and taking him apart to put on Hound and Sideswipe, He's won me over.

And shipping confirmation, so the concern these prices were a mistake and HTS would cancel the orders has subsided.

Yeah, are you sure you didn't just get the order confirmation instead of the shipping confirmation? Because that email took forever to send.

Nope, it's absolutely the shipping confirmation. Has tracking numbers and everything. Should be here by Friday.

My shipping notice came in after I went to bed last night with a delivery date of Friday. So it looks like HTS bumped up their free shipping to FedEx Ground and not using Smartpost.

Champlin SuperTarget had a PotP Optimus Primal, so I picked him up since he's cheaper than any of the online stores strangely.

He's cool despite regular Optimus Primal is basically just hanging off his back. Though he probably impresses me a bit less than the Siege stuff since I still have my original Beast Wars Optimal Optimus on display, and that figure is still pretty good for being over 20+ years old. Also old Optimal has chrooooooome.

And that brown plastic backpack on the original is a ticking time bomb, so I appreciate the new one being something I can pick up and mess around with.

It is? I never heard about that.

I only remember the Transmetal Megatron really having issues. Mine is in storage, but last time I picked him up, his waist was super loose and wobbly...I'm guessing he's broken in half by now in storage.

Yeah it's that same plastic as Megatron's for the OpOp backpack. The worse spots are on the ratcheting parts that connect it to the rest of the body.

I didn't think it was the same... It's not listed on the TFWiki GPS list: Gold Plastic Syndrome - Transformers Wiki (Not that that list is 100% complete or anything). Never ran into trouble with mine either.

I don't mind regular OP on his back either since you can do surf monkey because he's got that OPpack. Wish surf monkey mode was a LITTLE less hollow though. Maybe I'll buy the DNA kit and fill him with tires.

He's the second entry of the Beast Wars section, under Grimlock.
