Got Predaking today... For $25, he's a must have!! XD

For real though, I'm actually really impressed by him. He looks lanky in person, but not WEIRD like he looks in pictures. He's SUPER stable, and honestly even the weird compromises in his individual figures are pretty easy to overlook (besides, you're gonna have him in gestalt mode anyhow). He might be my favorite 1p combiner in the trilogy (nah, not might. He is) I was worried his legs would feel too stiff or too loose, but they're kinda just right? He's one of the only combiners that feels like an actual action figure rather than a display piece that falls over when you think about it while you're on the moon, or a jumbled mess of disparate parts. He feels like a combiner first and individual figures second, and I think he really benefits from it. For all the money-saving compromises they made with this guy, there's definitely some stability lessons that 3p can learn from it, especially when it comes to the combiner 'ports'.
Honestly my only real complaint is that I wish he had come with a matrix core in addition to Onyx Prime rather than JUST Onyx.
Man, I really like this guy. I dunno if I'd feel quite the same if I dropped full price on him, but he's easily worth $100-125, IMO.

Thanks for the input! How did you score him for $25????

I wanted to pick him up but he was just too much money for me at the moment (and I still don't have Trypticon, who I may want more even though Predaking is the better figure....)

I got a $100 gift card for my 5-year work anniversary, used a bunch of credit card points, and had another $15 in gift cards on the side. $160 was a pretty steep ask, so I hear ya. I wasn't even planning on buying him for a long time until the anniversary gift card fell in my lap because he looks so bad in pictures. I know his hollow midsection probably bugs people too, but I think they way they hide it works really well because how often are you going to be displaying the back of his waist? (It's actually interesting that some of what's going on in his waist is directly lifted from TFC's Poseidon) As for Tryps v Predaking... it's a tough call and I'd say it depends on how much you want Onyx Prime and a combiner v how much you want a citybot and a pretty great deluxe headmaster. Consider Tryps' still pretty easy to find, you can probably still wait on both.

Okay, so I got my Funko Pop Ultrazord. And while I was trying to come up with a place to put it someone listed a complete UW Grand Galvatron in box on eBay.

Long story short, I now have a MISB Funko Pop Ultrazord available if anyone is interested. Should we say $40?

Secret Walmart has a boatload of Wave 3 PotP Deluxes and Legends, as well as a fresh case of G1 Hot Rods.

    Not much else.

    Wait, what was the fix?
*looks up on tfwiki* hahahaha, REALLY? XD

Anyway, bloomington has a TF Card game endcap (on the aisle NEXT to the TF aisle). I got a few boosters. I HAVE ENOUGH STUPID PROWLS, THANK YOU. I did get Demolisher, tho, and he'll be a good 3rd member of my Megatron/Flamewar deck. They also have those power charge bees, soundwave, the 'tapes', crappy Bee movie figs, and tiny turbo changers wave 4. It's kinda sad to me that the Tiny Turbo Chargers have more interesting transformations than a lot of the cyberverse and bee figs. ><

5 G1 Hotrod at Walmart in Lakeville of 35w. Decent boxes for the most part. Top shelf above everything.
No prices on them yet and I was quite shocked at the price when I got to the register.
$30! Don't care take my money I guess.

AV Walmart has a few Hot Rod and a Starscream, no Devys. Also had a single SS VW Bee but he came home with me.

AV Target across the street has a Unicronus and Elita-1.

Did the Wal mart G1 HotRods get put in the boxes the wrong way on purpose? I looked at my toys r us reissue...an he is in the box what I feel is the "right way" ... Since this bugs me...I guess I'm a little OCD.... Same new stuff different day... Otherwise.

Yeah it was a factory level error, there was a rumor of a later corrected run, but I've haven't seen proof of it.

Was at the Cambridge Target today and I picked up my second cutthroat today for only 4.99.
