Depending on your needs, Cedar Cliff has an interesting assortment. All of the Throttlebots, at least two complete Technobots (Nosecone and Strafe), three complete Terrorcons (Blot, Sinnertwin, Rippersnapper), Runamuck/about... all $10.
They vastly improved the DOTM dlx 'Screamer with the SS mold...It does share almost the same transformation along with a way better system for filling the chest out, and completely re-designing the arms...I think that the DOTM Starscream was almost perfect (except for the small size), and the SS version fixes all of its shortcomings...some pun intended lol. SS ---> Oversized dlx KO ---> DOTM dlx
Eagan Walmart is still overflowing with Wave 1 PMs so I'm not regretting my preorder just yet. No sign of amythany else thus far. Both IGH and Eagan Target are back to Wave 1 on all price poini.
Why would they sell out? People are that into it? Bout the only thing that looks good is the box imo.
At first I was in the same boat as you Transmetal... but I think it was due to the fact that they are making another Decepticon Combiner Titan and not an Autobot Combiner Titan to even things out after Devastator. After I put my Autobot loyalty aside and saw the low price of only $160 for a preorder on this from TFSource and BBTS, I put that aside and immediately reserved one! I think he is quite impressive!
Well, I'm not the hating kind. I respect that peeps can like what they want. There was just way too many things that needed fixing imo. Plus I still have this guy............ I actually woulda been interested in a Hasbro version had the beast modes been a lot better than MMCs, which I felt was lacking. But as it stands, MMC version will remain my Predaking.
I love Feral Rex’s bulkiness, I believe those are chromed wings and he has a great stance. Looks like he can hold an arm pose with some weight on it. It is a quite sturdy by the looks of it, a definite plus! They do look different enough that if you are a Predaking fan and have the room... HasTak may be worth another look? Edit: not entirely sure on why I am trying to sell you on this...??? I suppose I am just trying to make conversation. Looking forward to my first FrankieCon so I can meet some fellow local Transformers fans, when that time comes!
I'm starting to wonder why I found that one lone SS Brawl at st Louis Park target. Have there been any other Target Sightings? Brickseek has been showing "out of stock" at all Targets, and only shows one Wal-Mart as even CARRYING them. I was starting to think it was a shady return from a WM, or maybe a return from an online store? Just confused as to how this one guy shows up with no other sightings.
I'm going to wait for a better price on the Hasbro Predaking for the same reason. I'd still like to have it as it's official and will probably be fun, but I still have Feral Rex if I somehow miss it. Nothing at the Eagan Target.
Having broken the bank on Poseidon and not to keen on 3Ps otherwise, I don't mind paying the up-front price for Predaking. Almost missed out on Devastator waiting for a better price, don't want to blow it this close to being done with combiners.
DT Target had Studio Series Brawl and Megatron, and a PotP voyager restock of a single wave 1 case this morning.
Today's eBay coupon is a pretty sweet deal if you can get the math as close to $75 as possible. Landed a complete BWNeo Mach Kick and Cohrada after years of waiting for them both to appear at the same time as a coupon. Just need Break and I'll have the BWN Maximals (if you count the Nemesis Prime version of Big Convoy)
Found and bought the only SS Megatron at Crystal Target today. One Brawl, Starscream and Prime left as of 4pm.
Eagan Walmart apparently regretted selling all of those Wave 2/3 Voyagers because today they've got (kid you not) 4 sets of Wave 1 and two Grimlock left over from when Inferno came to town. Ouch. Also 6 sets of Wave 2 Legends.
