If they felt the need to fix it seems like a good cutoff. I would've also counted Tryps melting hip ratchets worth returning had I encountered it before the fix was published.

I've also returned figures with backwards pinned pieces and missing pins in the past.

 

Most definitely not a true statement. We've all seen the horror shows that end up on Walmart pegs on occasion. Hell, I've returned something I told them was defective and saw it on the pegs the following week.

I can't speak to Walmart, but I can't think of a time I've returned something to Target and seen it put back out without *some* kind of indicator that it wasn't new. And yeah, I know there's the one dude who will take back Marvel figures with the BAF missing/replaced but we can assume that's the same guy hitting Walmarts and thus a massive massive liar.

Hell, one time I bought two Springload RiD (one for me, one for a friend) and ended up taking one back when the person found one closer to them. A few days later it was back on the shelf marked "Repackaged" despite having never even been opened.

 

Throwing some feelers out, does anyone have TAV Runabout and Override (the Takara Blackjack and Groove repaints) they're looking at selling?

Eagan Walmart had PotP out and reset. I saw a Prime but didn't see the headline about Unicronus until after I left so didn't even bother checking what the second leader was.

If someone wants to buzz over there it may very well be Rodimus Unicronus.

 

I saw that blue scooter deluxe wave 2 movie guy at Richfield Target yesterday - first time I've seen a wave 2 figure anywhere.

Hasbro has never dropped the ball so bad as they did with distributing the movie stuff.

 

I'm still looking for a Trypticon myself. Missed the holiday sales. Maybe it'll go on sale when demand is at an all time low, lol.

Blue scooter is Squeeks, and I've no interest in that 'thing'. If wave 2 of TLK is just now showing up, the last wave will probably arrive by the end of this year, lol. I've decided not to get any movie TFs from Hasbro/Takara because 3rd parties are doing them, and they're making them right, so I'm going for those instead.
Speaking of movie TFs, I'm going to sell off all my AOE TFs, 8 deluxes/2 voyagers (some still new unopened), so if anyone is interested, let me know. Otherwise I'll just put them up on FEebay.

The Rodimus in Eagan was not Unicronus. You do not need to go to the Walmart.

 

Whew. My Siege on Cybertron finally arrived after the USPS delivered it to the wrong address and it is totally not a knock off. Yay!

Anytime I order something from China I assume it is going to be a knock off, but holy cow. The packing job on this was insane. It had hard plastic corner protectors, fitted Styrofoam and a cardboard layer. Just amazing. Now if the Postal carrier hadn't tried to give it away to someone else it would have been a perfect transaction.

 

I got my CW Liokaiser from China and had the same experience. Got here in a hurry and was packed like I was buying a piece of art.

PS: One of the three Starscreams at Burnsville has the new tooling. You can see the slits through the top, though I had to use my phone light to brighten things up a bit.
