Don't worry about Downtown Target for a while. I think right now they're trying to get rid of their backlog, since the area where the Transformers had been has been replaced by lightsabers. At this point their TF collection consists of two CD Red Alerts, one DVD Prime, and a three or four Attacktix packs. Hopefully that means that they'll be recharging with Magnus/Skywarp in the next week or two, but we'll see what happens.
Knollwood SuperTarget was a nightmare, unless you're looking for a clearance Han and Chewie, don't bother.
I was at Maplewood and that place was cleaned out last week. Targets in Roseville and Maplewood are the same, not much of anything. Roseville did have a Grimlock that I picked up on Sunday.
Not a transformer sighting, but anyone looking for a Nintedo Wii, I was able to pick one up at the Lake Street Target. When I called they said they didn't have any, but I work 5 mins away so I went to check and they had a few boxes of them. I use the itrackr.com it said they had them in stock.
DT Target now has the Prime/Megs 2-packs, as well as a few Classics Minicons. Beyond that, they're still pretty sparse. Also, as of last night, Knollwood Target has the SWTF Han/Chewie 2-packs on clearance for 17 or 18 dollars.
Or if you want to press your luck, there's probably an outside chance they'll drop further, like Starscream did last year. Odds of finding one when they hit that price are pretty bad, though.
Hey, two in a row! In my fruitless search for a Wii this afternoon, I discovered clearance sales at the Chanhassen Target, 18 dollars for SWTF Han/Chewie, plus $25 Primus. Also, EP Wal-Mart had one Grimlock and one Mirage and, in non-TF news, had new Spider-Man figures, new TMNT movie figures, and had the Marvel versions of the little Star Wars Chibi toys.
If anyone is interested the Hot Topic in Maplewood has one Brawn and one Bumblebee remaining. I picked up a Brawn as I missed out on him the last time they came out and didn't have one until now. Nothing good at the Maplewood Target, TRU, or KMart today. Nothing exciting at Eagan Target last night. If anyone picks up a $25 primus for me I would be very grateful. I have no idea where Chanhassen is.
I forgot to mention I saw 4 or 5 Jetfires at the toy store in MOA this weekend. Too bad they were ridiculously overpriced at $27.
Chanhassen is to Edina as Hastings is to Eagan. That is to say, way the hell out there. I haven't seen anything lately except for a Mirage at Knollwood SuperTarget.
I think I saw them on clearance in a few other areas in the Southwest metro. I was shopping for a few other things at the time, so it kinda blurred by me. It was Southtown or Edina or StL or somewhere like that. Basically, I don't think Chanhassen's the ONLY one to have it on clearance, but you'll have to do some digging.
Or I could just called a Target and have them do a DPCI store locate for me... Sheesh, why didn't I do that earlier? Anyhow, I called and the White Bear & 94 store had two in stock. They must have been being reset the last time I stopped by. I picked one up at the $26.09 (tax included) price. Excellent.
Something I noticed at the DT target today, nothing new TFwise, but there was no place for alternators. Also for those of you that are also Lego collectors many of the 2007 sets are out, the new y-wing, and imperial transport, the new aqua raiders and exo-force stuff, etc
Pardon my ignorance, but was that ever officially confirmed? And if true, where are we supposed to find Rumble and Ravage?
