So bummed I missed the meetup! I got roped into a bunch of yard work last minute. Have to do the next one! Everyone like the Chatterbox?

 

It's one of my favortie TF Toy, I love it so much I have 3 of them. 2 Hasbro and 1 Henkei in addition to the repaint Threadbolt.

 

I had fun! The wife liked the KO WST "Ghost Skywarp" figure, and the SWTF Millenium Falcon I picked up from Onepass is actually pretty cool! -Much better than I was lead on to believe when it had first come out!

Just for the record, I wanted to pass along the upcoming meeting date, time, & location for the Midwest_Transfans next meet...

Otherwise, if there are any gamers in the group... There's a convention called "Gamer's Reunion" taking place in Rochester on September 25-27, 2009. They're going to have a dozen exclusive "Depressing Blue Edition Ass-09" figures (a shared exclusive with Dairycon)...

I was taking a quick read thru on how things went and all. First off Meth, do you still need a G1 Blaster head? I didn't expect that head would come in handy but I got one from someone who gave it to me with a bunch of other miscellanous stuff. Let me know if you still need it and I'll start looking for it. It was one of those things of "well who knows, maybe someone may need it" and toss it somewhere. . .

Anyway sounds like things went well and I'm sorry I couldn't attend. Its been a lot of things going on. I should be able to attend the next meet up.

I don't know if I'll be able to attend the next Midwest TF meeting due to September being a busy month. Got one weekend taken by work and another with something else. . . this is rare but then I got one huge weekend working at the gaming convention, Gamer's Reunion. Thanks, Meth for the info put here. Its great to have the support. If you need hotel info or anything and I will be glad to tell you and/or post it. I just put into the game schedule for Saturday TF Heroscape. Its Heroscape rules and terrain with Robot Heroes that I put together into a strategy game. One day I hope to translate the game into full-size toys. I have found gaming to be great fun with friends. Most games offered are for players with no prior experience in the game.

I do hope the group is able to do this again. Should we plan a date now? Maybe November? The Holiday season makes it harder to met up I know.

 

I wholeheartedly endorse a second meeting!

I love the Chatterbox, and live within walking distance from the SMPLS location. My favorite burgers in all of the Twin Cities!

It looks like I can be there around 2:30. I'll have a lot of AEC stuff plus some old Universe. I could also bring the City commander Armor and the UM/Skywarp set is someone wants to buy it.
