So I got this minicon Swashplate, I think he's from the GDO line but I'm not sure. Anyways, he was an ugly helicopter, and his paint apps suck. The transformation was hindered by the propeller, and his paint apps sucked.

    He also has Wheeljack's head.

Alright, so all you have to do is unscrew the one screw in his side, and bisect him.

Next, take the tail off the pin, and remove the propeller.

Screw it back together, and voila, you've got a submarine!

    The paint still sucks though.

What about putting the rotor on the back for a propeller driven sub?

The propeller is bigger than the ub, and the metal plate can't fit in the back since the pins still there. If I removed the pin, it would be a small slit.

Also it would have a funky crotch piece in robot mode, like a G1 gun-former.

Yeah, I was thinking of those Remote controlled submersibles.

    Ebay:
Add a hinge to each blade of the prop, so that it folds in on itself, cutting the length in half. It would look much more like a submarine, then.

I have always wished for a deluxe version of that helicopter. It's a cool little copter like the Mash tv show or even Magnum PI. It looks good as a sub too. I especially like that the cockpit spins to show the head.

I wish I was that good man, excellent idea though!

Yeah the head is hidden behind that dark blue bubble, so I used glow in the dark paint for his face. It's an amazing mold, and the one chopper I can think that resembles this guy's transformation is the energon bruticus helicopters; the legs are the exact same transformation.

If the paint apps suck so much, then paint him.
