Sweet. I'm not a big fan of G1, but I've always wanted to get my hands on BB and Cliffjumper. I might get the others too. Does anybody know what retail stores will be stocking these? I'm hoping for Wally World and Target to have these, but I want to make sure first. Peace out.

I thought the keychain-bots are nifty, but Bumblebee and Clifjumper especially are terrible things to actually be used as keychain fobs. Carry that in your pocket attached to a few keys, and you'll have worn chrome, a snapped-off head, and four little tires littering up your pocket in no time. :)

I love the things, but I wouldn't DARE use them for their supposed intent.

Yeah, they aren't super durable. I used Bumblebee as a keychain for a couple years (at least two years of high school and a year of college). He's still in one piece, but he has some pretty bad paint and chrome wear, his parts are pretty loose, both of his stickers eventually came off, and just recently (back in September) the plastic loop broke just enough for the chain to slide off. Fortunately, I didn't lose my keys or Bumblebee.

But that's why I'm glad I have the reissue Minibot set, so I have a "real" Bumblebee for my collection.

I found most collectable keychains made horrible real keychains. They're best when put on display imo.

I still have the original run of Minibot keychains, so no real reason to pick em up again.

I'm more interested in seeing the new movie merchandise. I'm hoping they actually transform too, but I seriously doubt it.

Haven't tried, but I'd guess Brawn and Windcharger would hold up better in the keychain role than Cliff and BB, though there's still the paint and chrome wear to deal with.
