So... for the most part... I've always thought the Mini-Con gimmick was silly. Also, the Unicron Trilogy just didn't get me to buying the toys. Until recently, I've pretty much dismissed ever acquiring them because well... I just don't care for having mini vehicles attached to other vehicles.

However... I recently acquired a batch of minicons... noticed a few had weaponized forms, which I thought were kinda cool. Since then I've tried to find a few more of these... since a lot of times they don't have weapon modes.

Now I know a few bots that are weaponizable...

The Power Core Combiner 2-Pack Minicons (who are more akin to Targetmasters than their namesakes TBH)
Requiem Blaster (Combined form of the Space Minicon Team)
Star Saber (Combined form of the Air Defense Team)

    Emergency Team

    Vector Prime's Minicon Safeguard (Blaster/Jet)

The Destruction Team seems to work as well... I guess.

Was curious if there were other Minicons with solid Weaponization modes like these guys...

Why does everyone think Minicons need to be displayed as such?

I think there was a Minicon Three-Pack that were basically target masters.

Combined with your list in Unicron Trilogy had 8 weapon molds, and more repaints that can be counted, just look at the wiki entries for proof
There are 3 Teams of Mini-Cons that can combine into three weapons, The Star Saber, The Skyboom Shield, and Requiem Blaster.
2 Teams of Minicons triple changers, each leaning toward a specific faction, The Emergency Mini-Con Team and Air Military Mini-Con
2 Mini-Cons triple changers Safeguard and Over-Run that partner with a Prime and Leader-1

The Mini-Cons form PCC Line consist of 9 molds and a easy to count 4 repaints
    Caliburst and repaint Darkray
    Backwind and repaint Beacon
    Chopster and repaint Razorbeam
    Chainclaw and repaint Bomb-Burst
    Pinpoint
    Throttler
    Groundspike
    Airlift
    Waterlog

There is a grand total of 17 unique weapons.

...because that was their primary gimmick? Like I said, seeing them the way Has/Tak intended them to be... really turned me off the figure class altogether.

I'll look up TFU and see if there's decent pics for them. There should be as that database is pretty dandy.

    Thanks for the info!

Now, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the Emergency Minicons and the Air Military Minicons NOT have 5mm pegs, and instead attached to Minicon pegs (except Prowl, I think he had his own peg).

I had Thunderwing (Armada) - Transformers Wiki and he only had a Minicon port.

The idea with the Emergency and Air Military mini-cons is that they would attach to a transformer with a powerlinx port, forming an attached weapon. Prowl/the police car is an exception because he actually has a 5mm peg handle, as you mentioned.

But with the rest of the Emergency mini-cons, they form what look like secondary armaments. Fire-bot becomes a bank of twelve missiles that look more at home attached to part of the body instead of being handheld, and whoever the V-22 Osprey is, he forms a double Gatling cannon or something that looks perfect as a secondary armament. Later, in the Energon line I think, the entire Emergency team was retooled so that all of them had 5mm pegs (I.E. Fire-bot lost one mini-con port to accommodate the peg)

As for the Air Military team, which seems to have been the Decepticon-allied counterparts to the Emergency team, they focus more on becoming melee weapons, and so they can graft directly onto the larger TFs instead of being separate, handheld weapons (I.E. take mini-con Jolt and stick him on Starscream's arm facing forward. Instant whirly blade of death). Gunbarrel essentially forms a giant six-barrel cannon, and when recoil is taken into consideration it makes more sense for merging directly with the TF instead of simply being handheld.

The Emergency and Air Miliatry team was retooled with handles but they were Japanese exclusives. (Caliber and Hellflame?)

Heavy Load's minicon has a 5mm port and Metrolex's minicon can be considered to have a drill weapons mold but only has a minicon peg.

The classics submarine also has a peg which doubles a 5mm. I have custom weapons mode for him. Flip up the tail and it becomes a rocket launcher. flip open and flatten the front instead and it becomes a short spear.

Also, I've been told that you can weaponized any of the minicons with Lego technics connectors pieces. That addes all the ones with missiles (land miliatary, sea) and hand-weapon (destruction) teams.

    Hell Flame Calibur

The ones that came with 5mm/minicon pegs are:
    Prowl mold (Armada Emergency Team)

Deepdive mold (Cybertron Giant Planet Team)
    Star Saber
    Requiem Blaster
    Skyboom Shield
    Stripmine mold (Cybetron Quickmix)
Hell Flame Team (Emergency Team retool)
    Calibur Team (Air Miliatry retool)
    PCC Chopster, Caliburst, Backwind
    PCC Pinpoint, Chainclaw

Unsure PCC Throttler, Groundspike, Airlift, Waterlog,

Throttler has a 5mm peg (it's his head).

He looks good mounted under the nose of Energon Sharkticon, turning him into a drill sub.

There are other ways to make Mini-COn weapons, and they don't need pegs. For instance Classic Thunderwing can make a brace that goes over the arm:

Also, the ones with a Mini-Con port for a handle and be fixed with a lego "technic" pin shoved in for a handel. That's how Scourge is holding Chainclaw.

Did I mention there are KO giant Mini-Con weapons? This Requiem Blaster is bigger than Deluxe Cliffjumper:

This Skyboom Shield is made up of Scout sized Mini-Cons.

EESH... never mind the $100 minicons...

All PCC minicons are supposed to have weapon alt modes, and most cases an armor mode. (tho they tend to be at ad silly on some... like Airlift's humping armor mode)

Technic plugs fit eh? That's awesome. Have to see if I still have an old technic set somewhere... I'm darn sure I never threw it out.

I picked up the Emergency Team Minicons, and adding these to them would be nice... the helicopter would make an interesting twingun if the peg is attatched under the cockpit's minicon port. Thanks.

Those oversized minicons are pretty damn funny. I mean from the looks of it only Leader classes could wield them without looking absolutely ridiculous!
