I don't understand HasTak's rationale for designing the face the way they did (ugliest expression of any Transformers figure). That aside, freaking amazing job!
Hey Cheetimus, been following your work for a while (and recently bought some paint to try and imitate it). Thinking of doing a similar Minerva custom, but with Trent Troop's Face plate. My question is, how did you apply paint to that section of the bicep, isn't that molded in 'unpaintable' plastic? Did you sand it really well or apply a special base coat?
It's nylon which means paint won't adhere as well but you can still put paint on it. Honestly you're not going to apply paint that is as durable as factory paint. For safety reasons they can't apply the paint there but you can do whatever you want.
This is pretty good. But really, you coulda done something to that face's aggressive case of aggressive dull surprise.
