Here's an early WIP of Minerva (from a Universe Silverstreak). With this one, I dremeled out some plastic from the hinged chest/back piece (underneath) so that the front end of the car could fold back. I removed the doors for now and this is where I need some input and helpful tips. I'd like to do something with the doors that make them stand up on the shoulder areas, but given that the ball joints they were attached to are now in front of the arms in bot mode, I just can't seem to find a way arount. I'm looking for a sort of easy work around, but if I need to go all out, I will. I plan to do some work to the head and the shoulders a bit (the shoulders look too bulky, but I want to thin them up a bit, if possible). I also plan to build a thin chest from styrene, resembling the chest from the 'toon and artwork. I cut the back end of the hinged bumper thinner and glued pieces to the back end of the car so that when it transforms into bot mode, it doesn't have the huge knee pads that Prowl does. It has a thin, more feminine look. The head will probably attach via ball joint once I figure out the doors and everything. Part of me wants to do the doors as I mentioned, which is more G1.....but the other part of me, wants to just attach 'em the easy way with magnets or some junk. But I'd really like to avoid parts-forming. I also plan to build the vents over the back windows with styrene. I'll post a pic of how I'm wanting her to look.

I've yet to see anyone do this type of mod to this mold, but I believe I did see a repaint of the mold in her colors that someone did. I just wanted to do something cool and unique with it that no one had done yet. If you dudes can offer some tips on the door issue, I'm all ears! (and if you guys wanna try it out, be my guest! Just shoot me some credit).

    Here's what I'm going for:

have you considered using drift for the project? It may be helpful and I like your idea it is very promising.

Nice to see some more Masterforce love that isn't just Ginrai/Overlord/Black Zarak (no offense to those who worked on the latter).

Anyway, I would replace the fists with the hands from Animated BA. They're feminine enough and five-fingered I believe.

Are you going to re-create the HM gimmick? If so, I'd suggest a Classics Jetfire helmet with the sides shaved down a bit and reattaching the antennas.
