Hello all. I know this has been tossed around as a pretty good possibility for a remold of the TR Mindwipe figure, but I haven't really seen anybody do a mock up of what it might be like. This is my first digibash! Really though, this doesn't seem too improbable. I kind of think they will make the Titan Masters' heads similar to the G1 versions and the bigger figure, if they ever exist, will resemble more IDW styles. Just me though. Anyway, here's Swoop.
I can actually see this happening. Just a matter of retooling the head and other parts on the mold and boom perfect Swoop. Same can be done for Skullcruncher/Smasher for Slag and Snarl. Even the rumored Voyager Snapdragon can be a good base mold for Grimlock.
All of that has crossed my mind. It would need some retooling, but truthfully only the bat head, rubber wings, main wing shape, and maybe the cockpit shape would need to change. We have however seen a good boom in total remolds, so it isn't too farfetched that they would do that too. I just can't see Mindwipe NOT being Swoop now. even his bat wing claws look more dino to me. After seeing how similar and equally different Scourge and Highbrow were I have hope that we will see some figures repurposed in ways only imagined before. Hasbro has to be learning things from people's customs, and with the pretty much confirmed Terrorcons and Predaking, I would bet good money that we'll see dinosaurs and other beasties. THIS is a bit out there, but one thing I've noticed that nearly ALL of the main TR deluxes have is hollow chest cavities that could easily accommodate combiner pegs. That's just a pipe dream, but remolding Wolfwire into Rampage and so on isn't too terribly improbable. Just jinxed it though.
Haw! Thank you! I was thinking about doing robot mode today. I'd like to try and do this more often, any requests?
Maybe you can give a shot of doing either of these. TR Powermaster Optimus Prime into the rumored Magnus Prime the Diaclone Powered Convoy homage. TR Skullcruncher into Slag/Snarl T30 Jetfire into Star Saber
Hmmm...... The dinobots might be pretty hard, but that'd be fun. The other two might be a bit out of my skill level, but I would love to try Star Saber. Just hard to imagine him not separating.
Hopefully within the next year or so. Hasbro knows we want them, I think they have just been looking for a good non-movie reason to give us all five. It's all or none for Dinobots, man.
