I'm not sure if this is the right section of the bulletin boards or not, but I just saw that Milt Jamin (Blast Off, Aimless, Stylor, and Grax), passed away on January 1st, 2018. (2018 not 2019, apparently.)
Sad to hear this. Blast Off was a favorite character of mine.

Oh man, he was the last of the original Combaticons. Always thought he did a great job as the snobbish Blast-Off. RIP

From the Voice Chasers facebook page even some of his fellow voice actors and colleagues like Richard Epcar and Doug Stone were unaware of his passing until now.

Milt Jamin also provided the voice of the "Brooding Robot" who speaks to Rodimus Prime when he enters the Matrix in Five Faces of Darkness Part 4, and was later identified as Prime Nova.

 

That's incredibly sad. When your own group/inner circle (as far as coworkers/peers go) doesn't even know of your passing, that must be just awful... That's incredibly sad. I'd want people to be more than a footnote in a memory.

 

Enjoyed his performance in Outlaw Star.

 

This actually hurts a bit to see. Man , to many people dying ....

 

Sad reality is that not everyone in a cartoon production is gonna still be around 35 years later, especially when some of them were old men at the time. But it is kinda cruel that a whole team has been wiped out. It's a bit like how, even though they were a younger group, 3 out of 5 Holograms are dead.

 

I also didn't realize until now that Roger Behr the voice of the G1 Battlechargers Runabout and Runamuck passed away last year in August. RIP  

 

RIP. I always liked the Combaticons. This is really sad.
