Hey guys. I got a Vintage Millennium Falcon from my wife for Christmas, but I'm debating opening it. What is starting to sway me towards doing so is its potential to hold my Cyberverse legion and commander figures (which I'm a huge fan of).

Do you you guys think this will work well as sort of an Ark?

You mean the old Millenium Falcon playset? I still have mine, its not in great shape.
And its still in the box? Oh jeez. Im not even sure i would open that. That would have to be a personal call. Whatever you're comfortable with.

It's one of those things that I know has value, but I value Cyberverse more. I was wondering if the size would work. It appears that it would.

I'm usually the first guy to say open your toys, but I have to say no way on this one. Keep that thing closed!

    Vintage what?

Is it the playset or the carrying case?

Is it a true "vintage" one from the late 70's / early 80's or is it the new one in the vintage box that is a Toys R' Us exclusive?

Goodness knows what she paid, maybe she remortgaged the house. I know what others are saying about it's value and rarity but it was a gift to you from you're wife so i suppose you're not going to sell it now are you, it was meant for you, all these years waiting to be owned by you.

So you can open it and not feel bad! It's yours to do with what you will.

    Up to you entirely.

Personally though as much as ilike cyberverse as you know, i wouldn't be putting my cyberversies in there even if they fit. That's like blasphemy or something, hehehe.

Actually, everything is vintage, but the term by itself means nothing unless there is a year following it. For example, I have a Vintage 2012 Prime Arcee.

Yeah ok. However, in this case there was a good reason for my question. There is actually a line of figures in retro style packaging called "The Vintage Collection". So I was asking whether his Falcon is an original from the late 70's / early 80's or if it is the Falcon from The Vintage Collection. From what I'm gathering it is an old one. The old one is smaller which is why I asked in the first place.

I wouldn't open it just to use for Cyberverse... partly because it sounds like it's an original set and thus much more valuable boxed, partly because it makes no logical sense to me to place Cyberverse Transformers inside a Star Wars playset. You can find much cheaper and/or more appropriate places to display Cyberverse figures: pick up a Cyberverse Ark, for instance, or the upcoming reissue Fort Max. And if you do open the Falcon, pack it with some nice Star Wars figures! Just my opinion.

I'm with you White Mocha. I love the Falcon and I love Transformers but I wouldn't put Transformers in my Falcon. Hey if you really want to though OP then have at it.

Thanks WMocha, but I've always wanted a ship like this for my smaller figs. I have the Ark but as we know, there is no comparison. I like Star Wars as well, just not to this extent.

I just recently sold my MIB ESB Falcon...
I don't think I would use something like that as a Cyberverse display/carrier though. If it was me, I'd wait for a sale at TrU or hunt on Ebay for something more modern, but similar in size.

i still have my original kenner millenium falcon, but i also have an incomplete potf mid-'90's reissue.
i've thought about using the the reissue with my tfs, possibly even drilling some 5mm and 3mm holes for accessories even painting some or all.
    but, the original, no way.

Looks like I'm going to hold off until I find a modern for a decent price.
