Did anyone catch how they explained that the atmosphere of Cybertron would kill the humans and what does Miko do in the next shot? She starts kicking the glass trying to break her container. I really hoped it would have broken that would have made my day.

Did anyone else catch this act of complete stupidity?

 

I pretty much saw it as Miko being Miko, but she probably didn't think it'd break anyway.

Miko doesn't give a shit about toxic atmospheres and genocidal robots. She's doing her best to show that she ain't scared of no stinking 'Cons and would gladly fuck them all up the way she fucked up Hardshell.

So you seriously hope to see a human in a fictional television show dying of toxic atmosphere... That is somewhat wrong. I mean, I don't like Miko, but hell.

 

Who would want a CHILD dead? People who do deserve a huge kick in the ass.

 

i thought she was trying to kill herself, so the autobots do not have to hand over the keys.

although Jack was the first one to say so. I think she was the only one really willing to die for them. or at least, for Bulkhead.

Is she stupid? maybe. but i thought it was well fitting in her personalty, especially with the development of her character through out the series, especially after bulkhead got hurt.

she didn't trust the cons, and she probably figured they were going to just kill the autobots *and they were* after the keys were handed to them.

so i believe she was trying to kill herself, so she couldn't be used.

Jack says things like that. but i think when Jack says it, i am not sure if he is actually going to go through with it. But with Miko, she was willing to sacrifice herself from the moment that bulkhead got hurt.

At first she thought it was just cool to watch a bunch of robots fight. but as the series went on, she grew up. she's become much more of a character. then just a plot device. and after bulkhead got hurt. she wanted revenge. even if it through away her own life. I think it is clear that she was willing to die to protect bulkhead.

 

Miko isn't stupid or a moron, she's an idiot.

Regardless of how dumb she has acted the entire show. I had to admit it was interesting hearing how the kids are willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good. I'm sure as hell know for a fact i wouldn't.

That's what I got from that scene too; Miko knew the consequences and was trying to remove herself from play as a bargaining chip.

 

whats a fast Miko thing to do as the camera goes over her? kick the thing that is restraining her. its like her angry look she gives Ratchet when she backs up Prime for protecting their planet. she is a pretty shallow character.

 

Perhaps Miko is just smarter than people are giving her credit for. The chances of the containers being made out of something like window glass are about zero. It's got to be a substance strong enough to support the top and bottom of the container combined with the weight of the children while being something that isn't likely to shatter in transport.

I imagine Miko tried to bust out the moment the Decepticons put her in the container and thus she knew kicking the container wouldn't do any good except to blunt some of her anger and frustration.

 

I saw it as she was kicking the container out of anger and frustration.

 

yea, she's one of my favorite characters of the show. they've made her grow so much in season 2. even if SOME people still don't see it.

 

And Occam's Razor wins the day.
