That being said, they should've gone with Olivia Munn as Carly from the very start (TF1). None of this Mikaela nonsense.

 

Carly > Mikaela, for sure. Like many of you said, I really don't get why the critics are trashing Rosie's performance. Yeah, she won't be winning Oscars for this but I thought she was sweet, brought a lot to the role and held her own against a very established cast. Especially considering that this is her debut performance!

Totally stumped how anyone could think that Rosie Hunterthing-Whatsherface did well. She couldn't act to save her life. I cringed whenever she talked. Hell, CGI robots had to carry her in some scenes!

Sure, Megan Fox wasn't great, but at least she could carry a scene.

Ok what made it bad? Not one reviewer or any of her detractors have answered this. She had pitch and modulation unlike Megan, she had good body language... what lines did she do bad on? How so? What scenes did the CGI carry her through?

Not liking a person's voice or looks doesn't mean they are a bad actor. Technically. I'm also curious as to who you consider good actresses. Give another example of someone who can't act... Watching her performance, I see NOTHING that constitutes "she can't act to save her life." I could see "she was mediocre", and even then, I don't think she was.

I challenge you to name one scene where Megan ever carried it. Any of her lesbian scenes from Jennifer's body do not count. Carly's scene with Megatron was great. She nailed that part. She was pretty good breaking up with Sam too... I'm straining to even remember a scene she ruined.

 

Carly is just more interesting hero than Mikaela. She is more suitable for a role of Sam girlfriend. Bay should have been taken Rosie from the first film.

And for her first film role, she did a wonderful job.

 

Easily Rosie/Carly. I don't find her attractive at all and her acting experience is non-existent, yet she is infinitely more likeable than Megan Fox/Mikaela, and a better actress.

Oh yeah, and anyone who says Rosie's acting was terrible doesn't know WTF they are talking about. Her acting was perfectly average, which is pretty amazing considering it was her first major acting experience. There's nothing wrong with not liking her, but don't tell me her performance was bad.

 

I totally forgot about Mikaela after the first scene with Carly and Sam... But say what you say nothing will change the Megan Fox from the first movie.

 

The first scene with Carly was the best use of 3D ever.

 

Megan Fox was my dream girl 4 a period of time. Rosie is fitter tho. ALOT fitter.

 

Team Carly, tho i find Megan Fox more attractive than Rosie, but she did more than Mikaela in two movies. Plus, Rosie's a MODEL, it was her first major movie role, she did a good job. Megan was always saying that she has so much talent, but somehow all her roles are not good at all.

Carly was a bit more down-to-earth than Mikaela.

I looked at the whole thing from a standpoint regarding meeting a girl in high school. Not many people stay with that person they met as they soon find out they have differences.

Maybe Sam figured he and Mikaela could work around them, but in the end, they parted ways.

 

They were both hot, but Rosie played Carly pretty well. I'll go with Carly
