And now the 3DS and Vita versions are showing as cancelled on Wikipedia...Comcept sure isn't in a hurry to refund the money it's stolen from backers though.

I couldn't find any actual news about it. I'm guessing it's just someone who thinks they're funny.

I would be pretty surprised to see a Vita version at this point.

If any version of the game was actually cancelled, the first thing they would've done is offer backers a choice of alternate platforms--something Yooka-Laylee (and several games originally planned for OUYA) backers are familiar with by now. That's not necessarily to say it won't be cancelled on 3DS or Vita, just that it hasn't been yet or we'd know about it.

Well holy shit FanGamer just sent another address request because it looks like they might finally be making the boxes, art books, or USB keys that were sold so long ago...

Neat. I've heard about that. Any hope for 3DS/Vita players?

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. I expect that _if_ it ever happens, it'll be for the triple new 3DS XP++ or whatever variant that's four times removed from the model I had when I backed the project.

Comcept promised just recently that the portable versions are not cancelled.

Eh, I recently deleted this game from my PS4. I needed to free up some space, and letting this game go was an easy decision.

Okay, so Mighty No. 9 was trash. However, something good actually came from it now: Mighty Gunvolt Burst. It's technically a Gunvolt game, but the whole thing takes place in the MN9 world. However, it's in glorious pseudo-8 bit, the dash mechanic is gone, the levels aren't as frustrating and the bosses (the Mighty Numbers) don't have one hit kills. It's been getting decent reviews, with people saying it's what MN9 should have been. Hell, one review called it "Mega Man 11." So far it's only on 3DS and Switch, though. Hopefully it'll come to other consoles... If not, there's always emulators. I have a 3DS and just downloaded it, and it's fun.

That looks pretty solid. I'll have to pick it up since it's only $10.

Holy cow my NES USB key and printed box finally shipped. Now if they could just get that 3DS port moving...

Sorry to dig up this thread, I just had a question.

I stopped by Dollar General the other day, and I saw this game available by the register for $8. I only had a chance to glance at it, but I think it said Xbox One and Xbox 360 on the cover. Will this release play on an Xbox 360? I don’t have an Xbox One, nor do I plan on getting one.

If you it says 360, then it will play on 360.

I was just trying to verify if I saw it right. My own internet research has been inconclusive, and it looked like an XBOne package. I guess I'll just have to stop back there and check. They also had Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition for $8, I thought I might want to pick that up too (as long as it's 360)
