Mighty Muggs Prowl is pretty much what one would expect. The standard body shape painted up with details to emulate the original toy. They've done a decent job replicating the car bonnet chest and rear window lower legs, although personally I think Jazz did this a little better. Prowl's skeptical facial expression looks great.







The Mighty Muggs version of Prowl uses the same torso as Jazz and movie Bumblebee with the car door wings. "Highway Patrol" and "Police" are written across the doors just like the original toy.



Prowl comes with a new weapon based off that of the original toy that looks great. There were a few noticable scratches in the plastic on mine straight out of the box. Hopefully this hasn't happened on others.



Prowl fits in perfectly with the other G1 Muggs.



There's not much else I can say really. It's a Mighty Mugg, if they're not your sort of thing I can't see Prowl winning you over. The only exception to this would be fans of Prowl. As an exclusive he's likely to cost you more than a regular Mugg, so if you were only planning to get one or two as a novelty Prowl wouldn't be the one to get.

I know what you mean.

I started off with zero interest in Muggs. Then I saw Soundwave and thought, "Well, just one. He's pretty cute, and works well on the Mugg body."

Then, for some reason, TRU-exclusive Movie BB really called to me, so I got him.

I knew immediately I had to have SDCC Prowl and Iron Man. (Prowl is great, but IM is extremely cool -- super shiny, awesome visor gimmick, and spot-on Muggsified RDJ face.)

Now I want TRU Jazz and Movie OP.  

 

Depending on how you feel about the movie designs you might save yourself a bit of cash. The Prowl certainly doesn't look bad with the Movie Muggs...



...but he's obviously right at home with the other G1-style Muggs.



Even just a couple of friends/foes work well if there are some you're not too keen on.
