This was a fun project. I was lucky enough to get my hands (and paint brushes) on a VERY limited & rare crystal clear seeker (PITA to put together from scratch) thought I'd use the "clear" to my advantage and put a little creative spin on it.

Figured you had something like this in mind when you put up that clear seeker on Facebook.

I -really- like that blue tinge between the clear and color.

Limited, sure. Rare? I wouldn't say that, they're still widely available on KOToys's site from the look of things. ;)

But it looks quite good, man. Love the blue crackling effect that you used, that really sells it as a warping effect instead of just cloaking.

I have to agree with the comments above.
The concept and paint job are super sick on this figure.
    Well done.

I'd still say rare...when compared to mass-released (in the 100s of thousands vs. this which is (from what I understand) in at about 5000)

    thanks guys

This is probably the only custom made where paint rubs might actually look cool. This is badass.

Yep, this is a true CUSTOM which plays in very well to the character's special abilities. Very well executed.
