With season 3 only lasting 13 episodes... Do you think it's possible that the Beast Hunters stuff wont be showing up until after the mid season break?
In other words, the first 13 episodes will wrap up the Prime cliffhangers and lose threads THEN Beast Hunters story line continues for the remaining 13 episodes. What do you guys think?

    It's 16 episodes. I think.

It's doubtful that the format change won't start right away with episode one. The NYCC trailer implies they bring in the ultimate hunter because the Autobots are in hiding after season 2. Why else would they need a hunter?

I do see your point however. I'm more then sure a few shows that have featured subtitles like Beast Hunters have aired holdover episodes under the new name/format before the new features kick in but I don't think that will be the case here.

We don't even know if the show itself will use the Beast Hunters moniker, it may strictly relate to the toy packaging only.

That's a good point... In a way I hope that turns out to be true. The concept is cool but I really dislike some of the design choices they have made with the toys. I especially HATE the Voyager Optimus with his really short torso and tree stump legs. One can only hope he looks better in the show.

It's kind of like Transmetals. It's not the show that uses the moniker, just the toyline. The show just uses the toyline's concept.

I'm down for anything, but I think I would like it if they just leave Optimus's design the way it is unless they can majorly improve, I mean the design he has currently is flawless in my opinion .

Am I the only one who never really like Beast Hunters?

It hasn't even aired, and already you're declaring you don't like it?

Well if it's anything like Beast Wars I know I won't, just hope it doesn't over run the show to sell those awful looking spikey toys. (my opinion)

Funny, some on here would consider the series to be a vast improvement if was like Beast Wars. Say like character growth, a forward story line, planned out story plots that last several episodes, and new and bold ideas that haven't been done before.

You know, the stuff many complain that TFP season two lacked.

That's the thing. People that hate Beast Wars and the like are already declaring hate for it because it has the word "beast" in it.

Beast Hunters are just that; Beasts that are Hunters. The Predacons are giant-ass dragons looking to slaughter some dumbass Autobots.

There's your season three plot. Have fun.

Since the season is 16 episodes, I doubt they would waste any amount of time on it wrapping up loose ends.
