    games for windows live. basically the pc equivalent of xbox live.

    kinda dumb decision now I guess. been a lot of steam patches from devs to get their games away from running on gfwl anyway, which is a good thing. sounds like they're still killing it off...just not by the july 1st date as previously stated.

    Actually it's a good thing. Several developers aren't switching over many of their games. Capcom has no plans to switch over any game other than SSF4. Hopefully by keeping it going for awhile longer, more games won't have a gap in multiplayer service.

    On one hand, I'm glad that my games still work. On the other hand this is allowing developers to be lazy and refuse to port their games over to something else (Looking at you Dark Souls and GTA4!), and this shitty DRM needs to be put down already.
