without a shadow of a doubt, these are micromachines. modern ones have this construction underneath- a diecast, multi-purpose base and a unique plastic car shell, with wheels sandwiched between. the gold bumblebees are another hallmark of modern micromachines- they always do chase cars.

 

Hasbro's got some mighty gonads to continuously remind people of AOE's existence.

In a sense its kind of admirable how little shame or self-awareness they show in regards to those movies. They'll pretend the Twins don't exist but they seem to be completely nonplussed with all the other shit.

 

How dare they make toy cars from a movie that made 1.1 Billion dollars!

From a movie that was propped up by the Chinese market, also it didn’t make as much in America compared to Dotm or RoTF.

 

Yeah I could care less for the bayverse. The fact that it leaned so heavily on Chinese money and influence diminishes it more in my eyes.

 

That's not true. AOE is the only movie where it did better in China than it did in the US.

And maybe a red Ironhide or an Ironhide in general.
