Would Zeta imply a ToyWorld connection, since Planet X had been around longer? I don't know, the engineering and materials between old ToyWorld/Zeta and Planet X feel pretty different. On the other hand, the name change could be because Planet X started with Dinobots, which ToyWorld/Zeta already did.

The only other (serious) option would be Warbotron/GT/TFM. The materials do seem similar between them, but the logos don't.

Wow! I forgot I had this guy. Never even played with him because I was missing one of the limb bots for a long time.

if you’re looking for one PM me. I’ll sell it for a lot less than what EBay has it listed for.

Yes, thread! Rise from your grave and live again!

So I've wanted one of these since it was new, but until now was unable to go in on 3P because money. But there is literally zero aftermarket for it these days.

Yeah. Most sets for sale are $350-$450, and it makes sense, but at the same time for what you get it isn’t really worth it.

That sounds about right, I've looked for one every now and agian and haven't seen one in about four years. I'd like to see someone make a full new FOC Bruticus, but I can't see that happening.

They pop up 1-2 times a year of the sales thread on the boards. But again, the price is usually >$350

Ouch, for a figure that let's say "aged" that's insane.

From what I’ve gathered the figure wasn’t released in “large” quantities. The company that made it went under soon after. It’s one of the early 3P figures so like others from that era, unless it was fansproject, they ended up obscure in the present.

Ive contemplated dropping the money on one a few times but never did. It’s original MSRP was $120, which is I think a good price. Even $150-175 is good. But anything more it’s price is based more on its rarity than the actual set itself.

Damn, if I knew they were going for $450 I’d have parted with my set. It’s just been gathering dust on my shelf all this time.

Its a really nice set, it just doesn’t really go with anything else I have.

Yeah, I would like to have it, but at this point someone might as well make a full net set with five new molds.

Wait until you get it in your head that you need both the MBC and Boosticus kit to create your ideal Bruticus.
It's the kind of obsession that can drive a collector mad.

God, I am so glad I got one when they first came out. I love it, but it hasn't survived as well. One of the gun barrels for an arm was too tight and broke but still works to secure to the body.
Yeah, I bought both and it was well worth it!

I sold one last year for like $200 or so. I still have one too... I like it, and i have a little WfC/FoC collection to go with it, plus I can use it as pre-Earth Bruticus in the current WfC series as well.

I *might* be tempted to part with mine for the right price. Hit me up and make an offer. Complete, loose with parts for both the Hasbro and Takara sets. Currently using it as a bad stand in for RID Ruination.

For an additional cost, I could throw in the Hasbro Combaticons (though Swindle is slightly damaged).

I've bought mine back when I was just getting into the hobby. The hasbro combaticons cost more than it did. Knowing that its worth something nowadays makes me want to sell it. Too bad its in storage and I don't have the energy to get it out.
