Micro Machines is Coming Back To Stores In 2020 - NERDBOT Awesome that these are making a return. I have a crate full of these.
Yeah them being produced by Wicked Cool Toys instills even less confidence that these will be good then when Hasbro took a crack at it. Would love to be proven wrong though.
I really loved this line when I was a kid. I feel like they could take on so many franchises and expand the brand. I was not that keen on the Star Wars ones we had gotten though. At least the few I ended up with like “alien on couch.”
Since they are working with Hasbro, I'd LOVE a series of MM GiJoe vehicles. Also a line of the 1984 TF cast in vehicle form would be instantly bought by me.
It would especially be cool if they did the 1986 movie cast, since Blurr was voiced by the Micro Machines commercial guy. John Moschitta Jr.
The playsets look nice but those cars they just don't scream micro machines to me. It is cool to see the old galoob molds next to the new ones though.
I love that some of the classic Micros are coming back with this line. Like, that alone might get me to pick some up. Recognizing cars I had as a kid is a big ol' nostalgia punch.
I remember these as well. You got 5 cars originally then the went to 3 I remember. I had the Tool Box city and a few of the little gold out sets. I also had one of the trains.
I was excited to see micro machines in the toy aisle again. Micro machines were a HUGE part of my childhood. I’m hoping we see: Star Wars, aliens, predator, Jurassic park, etc.
Hmmm... looks nice! Maybe I'll pick up some just to collect, and some to make TF combiners look ridiculously huge
I did a review of an OG travel pack I got last year. I’d love to see these return maybe with the ramps to connect to transformers.
