They were really hit and miss with Fortress Maximus. They occasionally have TFs, but usually things like the "crap" TFs, movie 2 step changer type stuff, not main pricepoint stuff, at least at the one that I occasionally visit.

Yeah they went fast at the hasbrotoyshop. Ollie’s in Waterford has TR, Overlord, Octone, Blitzwing, 1-Krok, 1-Quake, 1- Twinferno. Some are in boxes on top of the shelves!

For those looking for the Authentic evergreen figures (the big ones, not the smaller ones) Family Dollar on Hayes and 19 has Optimus, Bumblebee, and Grimlock. Went to Lakeside Toys r Us for the last time today, no Transformers left, or anything really, but the toys they have left are really cheap: I bought the last Power Ranger Legacy Titanus there for $45 (usually a $149.99 item!)They are open supposedly to Friday, but an employee said they might be closed before than due to lack of stock. Going to miss that TRU, I bought countless Transformers from there, from my very first TF (Beast Wars Waspinator) to my last from TRU there (Studio Series Thundercracker), and was the 2003 Bionicle Trivia Challenge winner at that store. Lots of fun memories. Luckily the nearest TRU is only an hour away, in Sarnia, Ontario. That, and with 118 companies interested in buying the brand, TRU will probably return someday, under a different owner. Oh, and Meijer has buy one, get one 50% off for all Transformers
Have you guys checked out Hasbrotoyshop’s eBay store? It looks like it carries most, if not everything, the web store has but often is cheaper by a few bucks. For example, deluxe Jazz is $16.99 usually but $14.44 on the eBay store. There are a lot of others like that too. Shipping is also free starting at $14.99 which is way better than with the web store’s $49.99. I just bought a few odds and ends from them. I think I’ll be using the eBay store more often.
I’m torn on the Authentics line. Although I like how they have interesting new transformations and are decently painted, I hate how they feel so cheap, like Happy Meal toys. They aren’t priced that cheap either. Family Dollar sells them at $6 and $10 which is probably twice what they’re really worth.
