This has been under the radar for some time, but then I bet Hasbro would not want bad publicity associated with it. Ouija Official Trailer #1 (2014) - Olivia Cooke Horror Movie HD - YouTube It's freaky, like Japanese horror-freaky. Hasbro, you want to cater to your horror fans, fine. But I'm not a horror fan.
Christ, the bit where her eyes started rolling upwards. Welp, I'm not watching this, I'm too much of a nappy-wearer. Buh-bye, horror!
What's the difference between being the producer, like Bay is for this film along with TMNT and I Am Number Four, and being the director?
This looks like almost every other horror movie out there. This is trying way too hard to be like The Conjuring and Insidious.
A director tells the actors what to do and how to say their lines, as well as tell the cameramen where to point and move the cameras. While a producer provides the money for everything needed to make the movie, costumes, set design, visual effects etc. Anyway, this doesn't look that great. It seems like just another generic "Group of attractive young people are terrorised by a demon/ghost (delete where appropriate) who loves jump scares" horror film. Plus, until today I had no idea ouija boards were a Hasbro product....
A good way to communicate with demons. A cousin of mine was telling me that she and a few of her friends experimented with a ouija board and after that she kept hearing strange noises in her house for a month. I don't know if that is true or not, I wasn't there. A guy at work was telling me that they tried it one time at his friend's house and they heard a loud bump inside the house.
no no they're going about this movie all wrong. the board should transform into a giant robot turtle. and attack people randomly.
So, it released today. But it wasn't too big a hit. Bay should really stop with horror films. Nowadays they lack no suspense, are filled with blood and there's too many of them.
It'll do well for itself financially. It was made with the budget of Michael Bay's pool, so it'll be a hit even if it only make 15 mil opening weekend.
