More Transformers. Great news. I hope they have more screen time than the humans this time around but as long as the movie is good I'm happy. Now the wait for Transformers 2.

I remind us all that he did say he would plant disinformation this time. I'm all for more new bots but there are limits to what they can include.

 

so have they started the new designs already i thouht they havent even done the script nor did they have a real date? At this rate we wont have the new TF movie until 2010. I just want it done right. The first one was good but i want them to build on the sucess of the last and do a better one.

 

More Transformers, yay! This is good news indeed. I hope they're interesting characters.....

Now that it's gonna be a sequel, 90% (I say) of the time the sequel is a lot better. Especially with Soundwave!

Now that they've got the key characters (both human and Cybertronian) in place, they have more time now to set up for more characters (mostly Transformers, I hope). The original '86 movie was more focused on the Transformers because they only had two human characters, and the movie was actually a part of the on-going series, so it already had a story built up. The live action movie didn't have anything to spawn from except scratch.

Now that he has said that I expect all of the transformers (at least G1 wise) ever made to be in TF2. If he does not meet this expectation I will be greatly disappointed and the movie will be ruined for me.
