take two buckets. bucket #1 contains popular names from various transformers lore. Bucket #2 contains vehicles he thinks are cool.
Draw one from each bucket at random.
Discard and redraw if it makes sense or matches a previous incarnation.

does anybody know when robot concept art starts to leak out? realy want to see the robot modes of the new cons. realy hope it doesn't suffer from the robot mode flaws from tf4 with almost no vehicle parts on the body.

 

It's incredible, after 9 fucking years people still expect them to look exactly like their G1 versions. It's a huge truck, it's close enough. It's not like they made him a purple prius.

 

I don't think a tow truck can be a combaticon, but that's just me. Yay for more name slaps.
