Honestly, does it matter. IF Grimlock was in it, He would get 5 action figures, be in the video game, be in the header of the website, have a cheeseburger named after him, and then be in the movie for no more than FIVE SECONDS!

    I agree.
But we are talking about Orci & Kurtzman, so I wouldn't be holding my breath.

It's fun until it breaks down into the usual in-fighting and complaining.

Now that bay has officially expressed his dislike for the dinobots, it wouldn't suprise me one bit if they make their way into tf3.

With the whole movie "seekers" bit and the prehistoric relationship between earth and cybertron, as well as the previous stated Scorpinok and Ravage it wouldn't be hard to write them in.
Orci and Kurtzman, while not the best story tellers wrote a great screenplay, and at least this time around utilized enough of the TF mythos to open several possibilities for the next film (energon, protoforms, seekers and the historic relationship between earth and cybertron).

On the flip side, while they could do it, I have to agree that at least in movie verse it just wont come out good enough to make it worth trying. Bot modes would be excelent, but real life giant robot dinos I'm not so sure of.

May I suggest that you delete yourself from the boards? That way you do not have to worry about not liking your fellow fans.

    LOL

The movies aren't about the robots anyway, it's all about the idiot humans and their stupid relationships.

Yes, Dinobots have small brains and don't make much sense when speaking.
But honestly, Bay's policy of mute Transformers dumbs down the ones like Ironhide, Ratchet and others, so there wouldn't be much difference.

fair enough, you're clutching at some straws there though, scalpel is a dead ringer for a praying mantis rather than a spider, and frenzy looks like no kind of animal at all

I recently looked up the words, Idiot, Moron, and Stupid in the dictionary. I associate these words with Michael Bay. Now, I also have a new respect for these words. As much as I wish, Michael Bay is neither an idiot nor a moron as he is not mentally ******ed. He is however stupid. An idiot can't be successful, someone who is stupid can though. I realize that Michael Bay is very successful. I don't think though, he has the capacity to learn. There were outcries from the fandom before and after both movies and it's all been largely ignored. I don't fault the man for having an opinion. However, admitting that he hates something that's largely liked by a fandom he's producing movies off of is not a wise decision. Granted the guy did a good job making a lot of money and a whole new spin on Transformers. Unfortunately he's losing popularity with a large demographic of those members of said fandm going to see his movies. But if he keeps playing his own favorites, then this whole house of cards is going to come down. I would hate to see this happen because I like these movies now.

I honestly don't care and in fact would rather not have them. Having dinosaurs in the modern world is just absurd. The whole concept is about "robots in disguise," and having massive dinos running around is the complete opposite.

Last person I heard that said they hated a fictional character was Sam Rami said he hates Venom, and he truly showed his hatred for him in Spiderman 3. Hopefully he won't change his mind and end up using them after all.

Once again, I say that Bay is lying to troll TF fans... and it's working.
