http://cgi.ebay.com/Transformers-LI...eZWD1VQQtrksidZp1638.m118.l1247QQcmdZViewItem putting aside 125 dollars for shipping turning me off, i can't understand how anyone can sell something as MIB, if it is MISSING stuff. and still expecting Fort Max money for it. sheesh.
You've never opened a TF to find a missing piece? Like the guy here whose Classics Ramjet was missing its face. IIRC There have been lots of reports of people buying MISB/MOSC TF's over the years and finding they have bits missing.
MIB isn't the same as MISB. MIB means that the B has been opened, what is I the B is M (or maybe actually near-M, since M implies fresh from the M/factory/publisher/whatever), but there may be something supposed to be I the B that isn't I the B (as long as the seller mentions it. Otherwise MIB is assumed to mean complete). MISB means that the B hasn't been opened, so what is I the B is fresh from the M/factory/publisher/whatever, but it still might have painting errors, assembly errors, or packing errors (such as some Classics Starscream figures that had two left or two right missile launchers). UC? Moving out of pedant mode, unless those missing accessories are really common (which I sincerely doubt), that does seem somewhat overpriced. (And $125 for an uninsured shipment? Even though the "ITEM WILL BE PACK WITH THICK BUBBLE WRAP AND HARD CARTON BOX" I'd still worry about the box ending up with several extra (and smaller) pieces in it by the time it arrives....)
The whole point of buying the limited version of Brave Max would be to get the extra parts that didn't come with the regular release. If they're missing, forget it.
you could go with the KO set, but those are hard to track down it seems-I also heard the KO sucks as far as quality goes.
never had the misfortune of opening a MIB item and it missing something. sure, i have read throughout these threads how toys that even when MISB, have two right legs, or a broken door, or something missing right away. but i am just saying, that kind of price for an incomplete, and uninsured shipping at that rate is ree-dick-u-lus.
I've had fresh stuff with key items missing. My first movie Bonecrusher was missing his right arm (the end bit with the hand). Energon Sledge, I transformed straight out the pack to find he was lacking a head!
What is the difference between the LD and the regular Brave Maximus? The box and the accessories. His box is in poor shape and some of the special accessories are missing. Definately not worth more than a regular Brave Maximus. I would say it may be worth about $50 more than a regular one due to some collectors wanting the box but that would be about it. He definately has a rare item, unfortunately it's missing impossible to find parts.
