I love MFT Astrotrain - playable, durable, good price. Hope this Blitzwing continues this line! Next will be Octane.

I thought pretty much everybody agreed that MFT Astrotrain was great. You're very difficult to please.

    Aaand preodered, along with Octane.
I love Mechanic Studio Astrotrain, and seeing the other two triple changers in color gave me the same good vibes.

Looks exactly like Blitzwing, who could ask for more? All I want from Hasbro is this in large Voyager or Leader class.

As much as I love the triple changers, every iteration and size HAS BEEN DONE...except maybe Animated re-imaginings.
Can we see some Legends class Unicron Trilogy super robots?  Or PRETENDERS!  Oooooh, the technology of today applied to articulated Pretender shells!  Monstructor, legends class?

Where is Sandstorm? Haven't seen a legends of him or Broadside. To be fair though, Broadside would be huge for legends and Hasbro probably fills that gap OK enough even though its a headmaster too.

Yes, I'm very exigent of where I put my money :lol . Opinions are opinions, everyone has one and I never said that it's a bad figure but I'm not a conformist. Reasons that I personally not like a 30€ MFT Figure: no wrist rotation, very rigid plastic with stress marks, loosed leg panels and limited articulation on waist and groin. I should have waited to buy him at 20€, then It would be totally pleased!. :lol

How about legends Star Saber? We already have legends head- and targetmasters on shelves. Surely they can do brain- and powermasters as well.
Im sure we\'d all love to get hands-on with legends breastforce, or any Victory characters!  This long-term myopic 3P focus on triple changers, from MP to legends classes, while excluding other special type characters is now getting old.
The 3P\'s keeping stomping the same ground, while so many marketable ideas are ignored. They just NOW got to MP-quality legends, like Shockwave, Megs, OP, Starscream, and Soundwave. That technology could make great beast wars, pretender, or even powerlinx figures.
If they build it, we will buy.  I just wish they\'d ask what wer wanted.

Would actually be interested in a decent legends Starsaber. Zero interest in the character or his show, bu his design is neat.

I was literally going to say the same thing! I have an MP sandstorm and I LOVE IT. They could legends class it like they did MP grimlock or Magnus. What about the “lost” triple changers? The helicopter/tank, or the retools that were supposed to be new characters? It’s like every company HAS TO have their version of blitzwing like they have to have an Optimus.

The transformer concept itself is imaginative and creative. Why do the companies think we would want 10 versions of the same figure, each looking basically the same across the board? I respect character models as much as the next collector, but once one company has nailed it, let’s move on! There are many other things to build!
    Ahem. NA and MS.

I'd forgotten about the wrist articulation. I agree that's a pretty major bummer, but otherwise I loved my Astrotrain.

uhh.. so I have a pretty massive Legends collection with zero Blitzwings right now. Multiple Optimii? Yep. Multiple Bumblebees, Soundwaves, Megatrons, yup yup yup. Not a single Blitzwing.

(IF doesn’t count, that isn’t a tank or a jet, and good luck finding him anyway).

Is there a decent 3rd party Blitzwing in the same scale as WFC Astrotrain?
