Oh hey, a good Legends Blitzwing.

Still mad Iron Factory Blitzwing had the worst feet ever.

better than kfc's in terms of overal dsesign proprotions etc. like obviously its legends so it suffers from some things but given what they did at this scale its super impressive. might have to get this and iron sky now

I was today years old when I discovered that there are flip out Horizontal stabilizers on the Diaclone/G1 toy. Wow!! If it wasn't for your post I wouldn't have investigated. Thanks!

I like this design. It seems to me that sacrificing its jet mode a bit (in the sense of being non-G1) gives the figure better look including vehicles modes.

It’s pretty sweet but since my Legends are all Iron Factory it would stick out style wise so I’ll have to pass

I was also today years old when I did this correct for the first time. I'd always noticed those were there but never actively tried to get them out.
It was so many years before Transforming Omega Supreme correctly for the first time. (he can stay standing up! who knew??!?!?)

I was all in on MFT Astrotrain, but I'm not feeling the Blitzwing as much. Hip skirt and waist look pretty ugly.

Also, while I love my Astrotrains to be hulking and to loom over other Decepticons, I generally prefer Blitzwing to be about Seeker-sized. So while Legends+ scale worked great for me on Astrotrain, in this case it's bigger than I'd like.

Still, as the only Blitzwing in town outside of the flawed Iron Factory version, I'm still tempted a bit by this one. Though if I get it I'm almost sure to replace him if NewAge or Magic Square does a version of the character at a smaller size.

EDIT: Now if they do a Diaclone-colored "Overcharge" version, there's no way I'll be able to resist it. I'm too much of a sucker for Diaclone color schemes.

The one thing about MFT is their build isn\'t always that great but they bring a lot of amusement and surprise with their stuff.

Well, for those new to the fact that the G1 toy has tailplanes:

I believe it's one of, if not THE first implementation of "auto-morph". Do the tailplanes first----they will automatically raise the tailfins up about half-way. Many people complain that it's hard to get the tailfins up---it is, if you leave the tailplanes in tank mode. It's super easy to get the tailfins up if you FULLY transform him to jet mode, doing the tailplanes first thing.

These lil guys are really fun. Poseable animation looking robot mode and simplistic fun transformations. Looks like I will have to get him too. Whatever happened to Tracks? He was shown last year and he looked amazing in metallic blue. Not a peep since.

First Astrotrain. Then Octane. Now Blitzwing. 3 for 3 on the triple changers. I'm all in and cant wait to display them together.

Also they are cheap enough to double or triple dip.

This looks really good. Not perfect, but really good. After enjoying their Astrotrain so much, am definitely in on this and Octane. Makes me hope against hope they’ll get around to Sandstorm.

Yeah, I thought that tracks looked particularly good. Hope to see him resurface sometime this year.

A 3p company can produce a Legends scale Blitzwing this good yet, Hasbro can't give us a decent one in a Voyager Class? Just....uhg.
