That Miles is a puzzler to me. He's not gonna fit in well with regular Mezcos, and you know they're not gonna do a whole stylized cast to support him. And as a one-off piece, Spider-Verse Miles is already very well represented by other high-end toy companies. Who, that wants a $100 animated Miles, doesn't already have 1 or 2 or 3?

Not to mention, by the time this comes out, we'll probably already be seeing (or hell, already have in-hand) toys from the third Spider-Verse, where he'll almost certainly have a different look.

Yeah spiderverse is an easy skip because I am more than happy enough with my $20 or less marvel legends that I don't need to drop $100+ on a mezco (or sentinel). Though if either came up with s fully articulated spiderham at this scale.....that would maybe get me to bite or at least look for it on aftermarket seperate.

As far as supporting cast I wonder of they figured the spider gwen they have coming and the 2099 they released would blend with this? I don't see them dipping much further in unless this miles is a complete hit and surpasses their expectations. But again mezco strikes while cold. Spiderverse is older now and every other company has done it. Plus by the time it releases spiderverse will be a thing of the past probably. I mean they teased it today, may solicit in 2 years, and may deliver in 4 or more...

Very high possibility that we’ll see another Roach/Slugfest/Rumble Society related figure to show up tomorrow.

Honestly saying, Miles v.2 is the killjoy of today’s teases.

I have zero need for another animated Miles after already having the Sentinel and Mafex.

A VERY reserved ditto on that. Considering the BTAS Batman’s proportions, a lot of it would need to be a new mold IF they do it accurately.

Nah, animated doesn't work in their format, at all. The detail you get from using real soft goods ruins the look IMO.

I got mine today... figma, Mafex & Storm Collectibles all got delayed right into Missing Link Convoy month, my poor wallet :lol

I’m just glad I paid up front. I have a Mafex Psylocke, two Figma Guyvers, and three Mafex T-800s about to pop.

Two animated reveals in a row. If nothing else, Mezco still has the ability to keep you guessing.

To be fair @mark4flair, Mezco did a pre-order of Duke couple of months (?) ago. If you and another member here want more Joe 1:12 stuff, give Mez an email about it and see what he says.

As this was mentioned by many members here: Mezco as bitten more than they could chew as there has been many instances that they have to play catch up to order to keep them pumping out products to keep their business afloat with licensed products and diverting customers' money to keep their Sluglfest/Rumble Society Line afloat only.

Animated styles is definitely not where I want to see this company go.

but I’m a jackass so I’ll probably end up with at least bats and joker.

Swing and miss on the animated ones. I think you lose the smoothness that the animated style has which translates in plastic but not so well in soft goods. If they go to a bbts sale I can see myself getting them eventually but not at full price I think.

I know the general reception here doesn’t seem high, but considering how Mezco fans were flocking to put an expensive third party Animated head on an inaccurate golden age Batman body… I think these are going to be slam dunks for Mezco. I’m definitely in for both.
