    Itinerary's up:
Mezco Con 2021: Fall Edition Itinerary

Looks like six reveals, and based on the Black Mold Mossquatch being a prize for one of the contests I'm pretty sure orders for that will go live. Also of interest is another contest prize of an "unreleased" One:12 Collective figure which is NOT identified; is this a figure already known to be in line for release, or something not previously seen or teased?

Hopefully Mezco will stick to the 10am pacific time for the drop so it doesn't overlap with Mythic.

    Why is Spider-Man 2099 a $120?

That makes sense. Isn’t this just like a $80 figure? I get that the light-up eyes means another $20 but $120? Seems odd.

Yeah, I wanted him, but seeing a $120 for a rather basic design with reused web accessories seems a tad too much for me. Gonna have to think on this one, or see if this upcoming Mezco con holds any influence on my decision.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you pass on the pre-order from Mezco that would have been $30 less?
Since $120 is a bit much, that is(fwiw, I don't disagree with that assessment).

Doesn't Mezco charge something like $20 to ship and then you got another ~$10 in tax? Plus pay up front?

I had an extra Superman and I broke the figure down on eBay and made more money than I would've if I sold it as one piece. The suited body and hands can go for $100ish by itself. It took a while to sell most items, I still have 1 head left, but just didn't want to take a bath selling the figure.

Shipping wasn't as bad on that one, but yeah it's usually a bit much. BBTS charges sales tax too though and Mezco just has an NRD, which BBTS also has for that Spider-Man. Plus you get 5% back on Mezco rewards.

That. Basically BBTS is better on shipping, but it's also demonstrably slower.
Fwiw, even after tax and $16 shipping, the total from Mezco is $114; still less than BBTS BEFORE tax and shipping which would ring up as around $130+

Honestly, I’m just too lazy to make an account at Mezco’s site. I’ve got too many different places to PO that I’ve just limited myself to the big e-tailers. That, and I usually wake up by the time their exclusives are out lol.

My Spidey 2099 shipping was $16 even and I live in SoCal. Sounds like even the normal rate is bumped up a fair bit.

Ah ok...so YMMV but I was always turned off by ordering direct from Mezco. Unless I have to for some exclusive (which seem to only be their own characters that I thankfully don't care about), I don't order from them after I tried it a couple times. I've been able to get what I want free of deposits or tax and shipping fees elsewhere.

Makes me wish they didn't use FedEx, but it is what it is.

I was curious about that since I ordered my first Mezco figure, the Frazetta Conan, from BBTS since I missed out on the Mezco preorder deadline. Fresh on my mind since I had to update my shipping and payment info again lol. As long as I get the figure, I'm happy.
