Gaslight Joker got delivered today. Pics do NOT do this justice. The default smiling face might be the company's best portrait to date. The combination of "slasher smile" and eyes looking just off to the side is f'ing CREEPY. This is a legit scary-looking Joker. Absolutely zero regrets about this purchase. I think people who missed out are gonna be kicking themselves.
Still needs Dent and Harley to go with the Gaslight gang @Legate. Another question, how is Mezco going to do a Victorian Age Mr. Freeze?
Did any of you order the wonder woman from dorkside? It seems they keep pushing the date and now it says August on the figure, of course it's been sold out a while but I am starting to wonder if they are just not getting it or what? I preordered there but I see many already got her from mezco directly, not sure about bbts or anywhere else. Just curious what the hold up is.
I think that presumes there are plans to do a full Gaslight-themed roster... I mean that would be cool and all but I have doubts there's any more room on Mezco's plate. That said, I think the design would hearken back to Freeze pre-BtAS. Diving suit, retro-tech freeze gun, that sort of thing. Honestly, I think a modified Baron Bends would probably nail the look. Basically Victorian-era that.
My Baker’s Dozen got to the local FedEx this morning and is now being returned to the shipper. Never on truck for delivery to the house.
Just got my Gaslight Joker in. My only real complaint is that I think his heads are a tad too large, but besides that he's perfect. Probably the best Joker they've done. The hands really make this one imo (lookin' at you every other Mezco Joker)
Got some stuff Harness is good Vest is great It’s two part Velcro construction makes it easy to fit on most things Weapons are fine, at least they have more paint than the original bakers dozen even if they did kinda sour the “dozen” by counting individual grenades
Nice! Throwing out the request again if anyone has an extra or doesn’t want the shotgun from this latest dozen set. I could definitely use it!
See if you can get the first Nosferatu release @Chosen. If not, then there is the newer version that has been teased during this recent Mez-Con games along with the newer Doc Noc (both not yet out).
Tbh, I think I like the look of the redeco Nosferatu over the original. That said, one of the interesting aspects of the first one was that it dovetailed quite well with the skull from the Crimson Cranium set and created something akin to a Scooby-Doo villain/monster. No telling if the new Nos can pull off the same effect.
Mezco should upgrade their Maria (Metropolis by Friz Lang) from the Silent Screamers lineup and added to the Horror line up in the 1:12 scale, however it's not going to be done. Pic taken from Cosmic Toys UK
