Given that the head and the flames are all one piece, it makes sense that there wouldn't be a swapping option.
Do you think that Ghost Rider and the bike will be roughly the same length as the Dr. Dread and the Law Dreader or smaller @DukeFett? Edit: I hope the Morbius/Bishop/Constantine and other teased projects get released.
I did some research in the meantime. The Dread and Lawmaster Boxset came up to 46cm X 30cm x 24cm. So there is a possibility that this Ghost Rider and bike set will be slightly smaller in size and still take up space on your bookshelf/detolf if placed in a 45 degree angle.
And that's without taking the upgrade into account, lol. Mezco usually loads it up with the accessories.
After a bit of a delay, PX Supreme Knight Batman finally arrived and he is glorious. The material they used for the cape changes its hue depending on how the light hits it. Absolutely gorgeous. The ears on the mask have that curved backwards front edge and straight back that Batman had in BTAS. The batarangs looks sharp and nasty, like they're meant to cause serious damage. The suit looks great and doesn't impede the articulation at all. Even the ankles move pretty well. I am super happy with the figure. Mezco knocked it right out of the park with this one. It even gives PX Sovereign Knight Batman a run for best Mezco Batman.
Ya, I’m definitely feeling this guy. He was definitely a good purchase. two complaints, I wish the joints were tighter, and I wish he were on a bigger buck. This body is really small, especially compared to other Mezco figures. It’s really too bad they didn’t use the Gomez or blade body.
Bear in mind, Mezco likes to re-use bucks and parts. If they made a smaller figure, there's a reason. Personally, I think this is going to get repurposed as a series of Robin figures themed similarly to the Batman series they just finished(Ascending, Sovereign, Supreme). One would be patterned after the golden age Dick Grayson Robin, the next soul be the Tim Drake style Robin, and the last would have a Damien Wayne Robin look. That's just pure speculation on my part though.
Sure sure, I get that and I can see how the tunic on Doc Noc could be practice run for a classic boy wonder look. Still don’t feel a grown ass man should be on the movie Spider-Man buck, but it’s fine. As I said, I really love the Doc Noc figure, so its good enough for me. Just wish I could find a good unmasked head, even marvel legends heads look like bobble heads on this body. also, as to the Robin evolution, I kinda feel like they’d do a classic robbin (only not bare legged), followed by a Nightwing, then finally a Red Robin. I assume each would get variations along the way to fit different appearances edit: the cut of Doc Noc’s tunic matches the Damien Wayne tunic:
Just think of him as true 1/12 scale. Any Figuarts or Mafex or other clothes figure company head can be drilled out to fit. Here's mine with a twelve world Musashi head and Mafex Peter Parker head. I'm sure if I drilled out the Spidey it would look about the right size.
I thought your done with Mezco's 1/12 shitshow?? There are three options (1) Johnny Blaze as a single release with more stuff. (2) PX or DMX release. last offer: Fuck Mezco's Shit altogether and save you the hassle.
those look pretty good, may have to see if I can find something like that. I don’t have my homecoming spider out to compare, but it feels how I remember it to have felt. I definitely could be wrong though.
I am. But I am also a very fickle person and I could be pulled back in with a good Johnny Blaze. I also just got that Black-Bolt & Lockjaw since I preordered that monstrosity forever ago.
