There has been a lot of talk about the first figure on the Batman thread but I wanted to talk about the whole line without going off topic.

Feel free to show off pics of you one:12 figures as well.

Here are a few things I've been wondering about.

1: What characters/vehicles would you like to see happen in the One:12 line?

I'd like to see Kaneda with his bike from Akira also Deckard and a spinner from Blade Runner.

2: After seeing the prototype Lawmaster have you been looking at the Batcycle in DKR?

3: A new preorder for a Judge Dredd variant popped up. What do you think will be different about it? Are you in for both? which would you choose if not?

The image of Bats on the Ride Armor bike is too perfect. I have half a mind to do the same thing with mine for giggles.

I bought a black+grey Batman for giggles. Once I had him in hand, i immediately P/Od a Dredd and bought a blue and grey one. I really hope that this line continues and at the same level of quality that it's started out at.

It'll be interesting to see A) this line gets enough traction and they have the licenses to really branch out and do a nice variety of stuff and B) if it sticks to beefy dudes and a basic body sculpt or if they end up branching out with multiple body styles.

EDIT: And a picture that I had already posted in the Batman thread but I may as well repost since it's on topic here.

I'm on the fence about Batman, but preorder Dredd. I suspect that the variant will look more weathered and may come with a poncho and shotgun.

Agreed, I'm in so far. One classic character every six months or so with the time clearly put into it is worth the money but if they start banging them out in waves I might stick with regular figs.

Off the top of my head, they have licenses for Star Trek, Thundercats and Mortal Kombat that they can use. They unveiled all the licenses they had available for this at one of the toy shows.

Hm. Don't .... really care for any of that. But some more Batman or 2000AD figures, if they're equally well done, would easily have a place on my shelves.

I'd love to see a Maxx and Sam Keith Batman in this line.

In my mind more versions of Batman went without saying, I'm glad you mentioned it. :)

I may be wrong but I think they also mentioned that they have access to all of the DC Universe too.

EDIT: here's the interview where I got the info from: https://youtu.be/RXZgzEUjoLE?t=10m12s

I don't recall that ever being said, but they did say that they plan on making as many DC figures as possible. I imagine there are probably some of the live-action stuff they don't have access to licensing-wise.

I'm really curious to see how the Keaton Batman they have in the works turns out. Though what I'm really hoping for are more characters/designs from TDKR, and maybe even some from TDKSAl

Where did you hear about the Keaton Batman? I guess that would make up for the 25th anniversary Neca set that kinda happened (for some).

I really should try to get a Black version of the Frank Miller Batman but I'm still pretending like it doesn't exist. If they put out a good version of The Maxx, I'll break down.

I believe it was either SDCC or NYCC last year. In the display for the TDKR Batman figures were cards announcing some of their future figures for the line. One was Dredd and the other was Keaton Batman.

Well it seems to have worked out for Dredd, maybe. I would like to see the cape gimmick from the Neca 1/4 scale in 6". I can't display the Neca with his cape spread, it's too big.

Well poop. I knew about this line and was just waiting a bit before picking up a Batman, but now I see the black version is sold out everywhere. Didn't these just come out in March? Damn. Now I have to decide if I want to settle for the blue version.

Yeah I'm in the same boat, never expected it to sell so well. Locked in a preorder for Dredd since it might be the best version of the character we ever get.

hah...BBTS still had blue Bats last night and now he's gone too. :/

Has Mezco ever indicated whether they plan another run of these?

Gohastings, handy. I've seen them on eBay but never went directly. Still sitting there because of a $4 mark up. I can deal with that. :)

I recommend any version but I'm not picky.
