you're looking at it all wrong man. you're buying an engineering masterpiece. A work of art. if you spent 100 hrs on something, would you want to get paid only $50 for it?

 

well even if it's unofficial it's still costly to build in time and materials... trying to build one yourself would cost less but try to imagine how long it would take to do this.... we are looking at a MINIMUN of about 600 hrs for this and that's just in time cost..... put this at around 10.00/ hr and your at a minimum of 6000.00 ... materials at this point cost me about 800.00 for styrene,copolystyrene ,curing accelerant, cyanoacrylate, mechanical parts, electronics and led's (on that alone there is more of 150.00 worth of led's that i've bought for this and i'm almost already out of lights !!!) ,tools ,hinges ,wires ,ect....... so yeah it would be expensive but i dont expect to sale any and this would remain a one of a kind figure....

for lights , just for high tower number 4 it took more then 60 led's !!! so make a quick calculation and you'll see that it will cost ALLOT in just lights !!!

but this is the same debate that i go over and over everytime that i do a piece..... so this is not new but a bit dissepointing that people have a hard time realizing this .... oh well on with the construction !!!

 

Some people just need to end up on the other end of things to understand.

you're absolutly right ... that's quite a sum of money to buy this and that's why i dont expect anyone to buy this... and it wasnt for that purpose either.... i also wanted to avoid anyone starting to complain about the price since like i said i have to go thru that everytime i do something new.... it wasnt aimed at you but rather stop any debate about pricing before it starts !!!

this project is for all to see and to witness a great project being made that i would as a transformer fan would have liked to see come to life when i was young !
