whats more badass than a 4 armed metallikato master? nothing. well, maybe some apple cobbler. but besides that, whats more badass?

    War Within Grimlock! :D

Interesting, but I think you should refine your sketches a bit more. :)

EDIT: can't you just have it so he has his Shell half open? ;)

Meh KA turn off your drooling fanboy mode and help the guy out with crits so he can make much better art. ;)

Which he can if he's not rushing or being lazy... ¬__¬"

but yeah. this just just an uber quick/loose design sketch i wanted to get down on paper so i wont forget some of the main "features" when i plan to flesh out the design [someday -_____-]

    xD

    ooh. touched a nerve there.

seriously, ive seen josh's quick sketches before. i didnt think much of em. but he always seems to add an extra dimension once he puts coloring into them - not talking abt just adding colors here, rather, a stylistic inclination, not sure whether its conscious tho').

so from what ive seen, josh's pieces are put together more on the computer rather than on paper. it may not be pragmatic, convention-wise. but the end result works, in that, even if the drawing wasnt credited, you'd recognize it was josh.

and that in itself i think is more valuable as an artist. identity over competency.

Ah so you're calling Josh incompetent?

    *stabs* <3 *giggles* xP

It's recognisable, but often improvable as well. :)  I can easily recognise Don's old humans (like Macromasters) by their eyes, but that doesn't mean he hasn't or shouldn't have improved on them. >.>

And yes I recognise Don images with my eyes closed. They radiate thingies and smell like pie.
